Description of Work: Partly my fault for not confirming from the outset, but I reached out to confirm they would by complying with Covid guidelines and the guy responded saying he would not, “due to religious reasons.” As a Christian I’m offended that he claims a religious requirement to risk my and my family’s health, and I don’t think it speaks well of the company’s intentions elsewhere. What other government guidelines or code mandates are they ignoring? From now on I will be confirming from the outset, but be aware that this company does not respect your right to be healthy.

I hate that you felt the need to review us as and F. It does seem unfair since we never came to your home. We hope you have great success with your renovation and we do hate that you are looking at this transaction as a negative. I did want to add. I do respect everyone's right to be healthy. As you have a choice to wear the mask then I should have the choice not to. There is a legal precedent from a 1973 case that sited the due process clause in the 5th and 14th Amendments. The due process clause says that no person can be deprived of "life, liberty, or property, without due process of law." Removing a person's choice deprives them of their liberty. Furthermore, as a Christian and an Ordained Minister the bible speaks very clearly in many verses that a man shall not cover his head. First and Second Corinthians both say that a man shall not cover his head or face because the head of man is also the head of God. This is only two of a long list of reasons. The smallest of which is I have a beard, which for a mask to work correctly must be removed and I will not be doing that. Also for a mask to work correctly in this setting, it should be surgical and professionally fitted. I was not pulling your leg or making things up because I don't want to wear a mask. Below are the requirements I did not agree to. I feel that by letting the customer know I will not comply when the requirements are presented/requested I am respecting their rights and mine. Hi! Thank you for agreeing to come to [Member Information Removed] Please confirm your commitment to the following: - Will wear mask (not bandana or neck gaiter), fully covering nose and mouth, at all times when indoors - Mask does not have “easy-breathe” valve to let air out (disposable surgical masks may be available, pls check with owner before coming if needed) - Will maintain 6-foot distance from occupants - Will wash or sanitize hands upon entering home (sanitizer or sanitizing wipes available on request)

We used JWAC for two projects at our house during the course of a year. First one was a complete rebuild of our screened in porch, including the addition of a wood-burning fireplace. Permitting w/ the city (Atlanta) was a big challenge but Chris and his team were very diligent. Quality of all the work was excellent...and I'm very particular. Second project was the renovation of one of the original bathrooms in our 1923 craftsman house. Another challenging project (old house, tight space, etc.), but the end result was beautiful. Chris stays on top of the details and makes sure everything is completed to our satisfaction. 100% trustworthy and the pricing was very fair. No surprises! I would highly recommend JWAC to anyone.
