I know nothing about the cost of working on air conditioning units, but I was talking to a friend and told him that I was charged $127 for a capacitor. He told me I got ripped off. So I did some research on the web and found the same model capacitor ranging in price from $10 to $36. The majority of them were priced under $30. So at the very least, I paid between 3 and 4 times as much as the most expensive capacitor I found on the web. Based on the cost of some of the capacitors I found, I paid 10 times too much! I tried to call Mr. Harper to ask him why I had been charged so much and had to leave a message. I tried to contact him 3 times over the course of a week, left a message each time, and never did hear back from him. I can only conclude that I was indeed overcharged since he doesn't appear to want to speak to me to address my concerns. So while I was pleased with his promptness and his professionalism while he was working on my unit, I am very displeased with his lack of professionalism after he's received his money. I will not be using his services again and will tell my friend, who recommended him to me, not to use him either.

Not done right the first time, but they made it right.

They did a great job. They arrived when they said, a few days after acceptance of the offer. They stayed on schedule, even during a busy warm spell. The job took a couple of days and there was always at least one person working on it, sometimes three. They spent time making sure that installation would provide the best results with minimum disruption of the finished basement. They will always be our first choice.

TERRIBLE. DIFFICULT TO GET THEM TO SHOW UP WHEN PLANNED. DAMAGED STUDS WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW. WOULDN'T FINISH JOB BECAUSE OF A 15 MINUTE DELAY. LEFT MESSAGE...DID NOT CALL BACK. HAD TO GET SOMEONE ELSE TO FINISH JOB.
