I had been gathering bids for about 6 months. I interviewed 10 different roofing companies that I have seen in my neighborhood
or around town. This was the largest home improvement project so I did my homework. Anybody can call themselves a roofer and there are a lot of smooth talkers. I caught a couple of them lying to me and some of them did not follow through on things.
I am taking the time to highly recommend the company that I did choose because he checked out to be a great contractor and his work was fantastic! Richard is a 4th generation contractor, he is smart, professional, his pricing was very good and work was perfect. His business has been around for all of the 8 years that I have lived here, I pass his business sign every day on the way to work. Being established is important to me, a lot of roofing companies come and go from year to year. I know that Richard Grove replaced over twenty roofs on houses in my sub (Morgan's Crossing). That was summer of 2009 after a hail storm and all of our 6 member HOA used him on their respective homes and all recommended him. Those roofs have not had any issues since they were replaced by Richard Grove back in 2009.
