Freedom Overhead Doors

Freedom overhead doors is a great company, and the owner, Spencer, is really someone that I trust to give honest guidance on what you need. I just purchased two new garage doors from, but have worked with him for over a year now for routine maintenance on our prior doors. I actually did not have chance to have Spencer do the repair for my home due to time constraints but he surely has been prompt and professional in what he does, and offers competitive rates. He would likely to be the one who responses to your needs (garage door / repairs) first, surely before anyone else on the Angie's List. He is on top of my lists for future repair needs, and I will recommend Spencer @ Freedom Overhead if any of my friends and relatives need new garage door or repairs.

Couldn't be happier with Spencer and Freedom Overhead Doors. He came out in the evening after I got home from the office -- I thought I was just going to be getting a quote from him, but I found his prices to be very competitive and he was ready to do the work on the spot. Spencer had to get a little bit creative on one of the opener installs because of some "custom work" the home's previous owner left for us to deal with -- but he made it work quickly and without drama. Thanks for the great work, I'll call Spencer again for future jobs without a second thought.

I mistakenly closed my garage door on the bike rack on my van and the door looked like it was destroyed. Spencer came right out and took a look. I thought I was going to have to replace the entire door - a door that I had just installed. Spencer told me he would gladly order a new door and install it, but asked me to let him try to fix it first. For way less $$ than a new door, Spencer was able to make the door look like new. Definitely recommend Spencer - he's a good guy in an industry full of not so good guys.

Spencer was AWESOME!!!! Answered the phone and was extremely friendly, came right over, noticed the problem right away, quoted me $50. Told me our doors have a lot of life left in them, where other companies have tried to scare us into getting new doors. Incredible guy. Wonderful company. Will most definitely refer and use again!!!!

They were quick to respond and very professional. They looked at the door and immediately gave me an accurate estimate, they were very fair priced, and had the work completed in timely manner. All in all they get 10 stars!

Outstanding service and super nice tecnician. The price was much better than what my neighbor paid another company. I had been warned that garage door companies frequently try to "upsell" you on a bunch of additional stuff. Not these guys. I was afraid the motor might also be going bad because it was making an odd noise. Instead of trying to sell me a new motor, the technician made some adjustments and everything is working great. He said that the motor might need replacing in the future, but should work fine for a while to come. "it might last another year or another 5 years, but why spend the money if it is working properly now?" I'm not particularly "handy" so I probably wouldn't have known the difference. I will definitely use them again if I do end up needing additional services in the future because I definitely trusted their technician was trying to "do the right thing" for me. Nice people too! Definitely recommend!
