"Our team works very hard to have the very best service and products available. Your issue with us unfortunately has nothing to do with either of those items of service or product issue. You ordered a door system that we installed with everything you wanted which included having the non active door on a front double door system bored for hardware which you even provided the new hardware. After it was installed and looks great you decided you didn't like the extra hardware wanted us to remove the non active door with a new door that did not have a set up for hardware, there is no way to do this as your door was prefinished in the shop and the only way this could be changed would be to order a new door slab and not something that we would be covering on the cost. Our partners at the large box store and their management team agreed with us as well that we did everything we said we would do from the contract. Again we strive to be the best and we will make mistakes at times but when we do we will always get them handled, but in this case we did not make any mistakes. I do ask anyone reading this to please do your research and read our reviews with 100's of 5 stars on google, guild quality, angie's list, we would not be where we are today with the team we have today without our 10's of thousands of happy customers."
"Thank you for the feedback. We are very pleased that you are happy with our service and installation."
"Thank you for your nice comments! We are happy you are pleased with the door, our staff and the installation."
"Thank you for the great review. We are very pleased that you are happy with our service level!"
"[Member Name Removed], I wanted to reach out to you, and see if I could clear anything up for you as from what I know we brought out a new glass fairly quickly for your shattered glass replacement and we just used the photo to bring out the item as quickly as possible. When we arrived we agreed it was not the contoured grill design you had originally. This glass is not a stock item for us like the standard grid style that we brought out. Unfortunately since the last time that we were out our local warehouse for our glass was moved to Valdosta and no longer in Norcross. This has increased our glass lead times to closer to 4-5 weeks for installation as we can no longer just go and pick it up. I do apologize for any shortcomings in the communication of this. We always try to get to emergency issues as quickly as possible, for you inconvenience we will be taking 50% off the balance of the replacement glass. Brett Butler"
First, Brett Butler (the salesman) was delightful. Brett took a picture of the front of our house and was able to show me before-and-after pictures of a few designs that I was interested in. For such a big purchase, it was great to be able to really see what the doors would actually look like on our house.
After ordering, the front office kept me up to date while we waited for the doors to be constructed. It took about four weeks, but the doors were custom made so the wait was understandable.
Two very polite and professional gentlemen arrived this morning and they worked on the door installation all day (about 5 hours). This was definitely not a rush job -- they took great care to do it right. They cleaned up after themselves very nicely, including vacuuming up all dust and the complete haul away of my old door. They also made sure that my front door alarm was still connected.
I went with Victorian bronze hardware. I provided the handle and lock and they provided the hinges and pull down/up bolts that hold the second door in place. I went with at very dark blackish-brown stain (as recommended to me by Brett Butler). I wanted something that looks black from a distance but up close shows the grain of the wood. It's just perfect.
The transformation from my old door to my new doors is hard to do justice in words. Our old metal single door was dented a bit and the paint was faded and dull. Our new doors are absolutely beautiful. My only regret is that I took so long to finally get this done. What a phenomenal change!! Plus, they are gorgeous from the outside of course but I didn't quite appreciate how amazing they would look from the inside. The sparkle of the beveled glass panels and the look of the mahogany is like adding a beautiful new piece of furniture to your foyer!
I hardly ever write reviews, but I'm also hardly ever blown away like this with service and quality that I just had to share. If you're on the fence about getting new front doors like I have been for several years, just do it. You won't be disappointed!
