"7/30/2019 The homeowner in this project was on-site continuously with our team. Watched every step taken and performed. We are quite surprised to receive this negative review. Since we have I would like to provide my input to each of his points. Communication - The owner had several home meetings prior to installation to review and review again. The supervisor spoke with the customer regularly throughout each day that we were on site. There was an agreed-upon scope of work. Our team used the work order of which was approved by the customer. If there were items agreed upon outside that scope of work/work order, there had to a written change order per our notes in the estimate that was approved by the homeowner. Grading and new sod and low spots. This was corrected during the same time frame that all work was being done. In the review above it indicates it took many many many requests to get this fixed and that it was not completed prior to the end of the job. We were only job site for a week and this was corrected before we left on that Saturday. Trenching the back yard "surgical precision on the trench?" Our team hand dug the trench to ensure the least amount of disruption. This is done any time irrigation is installed. The sod that is taken out can not always be reused and the alternative is to ensure new sod is placed in that area to not leave a dirt line through the yard. We ensure our work is completed prior to leaving. The standard procedure, not afterthoughts Rock Retaining Wall - The agreed-upon material for this wall was a natural rock boulder wall. Different sizes, shapes, natural colors, etc. The rock was there several days prior to installation, the customer had reviewed the materials prior to installation and during installation and never mentioned anything about not being proper color, etc. The wall was built exactly to the picture sent to us. As for being uneven - it is not a block or modular wall that would have been straight and level. It is a natural rock boulder wall of different sizes, shapes, and colors. Sod - We were not running out of sod. The finished look will take time - it is sod - it is in pieces. Those pieces will grow together and will make a nice looking lawn. We purchase our sod straight from the sod farm on the day of installation. We always purchase more than estimated to ensure we have enough to complete the job and replace any pieces that could be less than acceptable. Finished work - I am not sure what work was not completed. The customer never provided specifics in the review or to our office. We went through the work order and each item was checked off and completed. There were items requested that were not on the work order and they were not completed. A change order was not submitted or agreed upon. If there was something that was on the work order that needed to be done, that I was not aware of, we would have expected to receive a call in the office and I would have made sure completed. Our supervisor provided details to the office that the work was complete. We always go above and beyond to make our customers happy."
