When I called about my mower, they had moved it to a secret location to work on it and refused to reveal where it was hidden, refused to let me see what work they were doing. They demanded that all of the mower hardware had to be replaced and tried to sell me parts that did not even fit my mower. They demonstrated to me they were clueless about the problem and tried to sell parts that were not needed, claimed existing parts were worn out when they were fine. After going a few rounds of lies, I demanded to get my mower back. They eventually returned it for me to pickup, no work had been done. I refused to let them work on it after they repeatedly tried to sell me parts not needed and lied about condition of existing parts to also replace which I refused to pay for. Moving my mower to a secret off premise location and refusing me to look at it clearly revealed acts of fraud.

Starter rope had broke on my lawnmower so I used Angie's list to find someone to fix it. Selected Ace Hardware in Buford, GA. They said it would take 5 - 7 days and i pick it up a week later. The lawnmower just like it was brand new. These guys did a great job! I will bring my lawnmower back for servicing in the future.

My Craftsman lawnmower celebrates its 20th birthday this year and has thrived on total neglect. I vowed to do better in 2013 and contacted the folks at Ace Hardware in Buford. I dropped the mower off on Monday and got a call on Wednesday that it was ready. It had been thoroughly inspected, the blade sharpened, assorted necessary repairs made and is good for another season. They gave me an estimate up front and did not exceed the amount. The final bill included a bulleted list of all work done. The people at Ace were personable and professional. I be taking and quot;Old Faithfuland quot; back next year for a return visit. Highly recommended.
