 + 1 moreUnbelievable!!!!! We are beyond thrilled with their work and service and wanted to shout it from the mountains tops and to everyone we know to get them more business. They deserve it. There are so many big companies in this town who promise the world, charge and arm and a leg then under deliver. Jack and Irene with Handy People Drywall and Paint were extremely affordable (dare we say even cheap) and were punctual, sweet, kind hearted people who run a small family business and over deliver. This was a huge job that they did for us as the home was in very bad shape, had huge 13 foot ceilings and was 2,600 square feet. The walls were crooked to start with and they did such an incredible job that it now looks like a new home with old floors and old windows. Everything else looks brand new. Do yourself a favor and if you need drywall work or painting give them a call.
Description of Work: We are renovating a old home built in 1880 that was in a terrible shape. We had quite a few contractors that we had problems with until we found Jack and Irene with Handy People Drywall and Paint. They demolished the interior plaster walls and repaired the damaged lathe. They shimmed out the walls and added nailers for preparation for the drywall and cleaned out all the debris. They prepped the walls for insulation and pumped a cellulose insulation into the walls for us. They then installed the drywall on our 13 foot high ceilings and walls throughout the entire 2,600 square foot home. It was a huge job. We also opened up a wall to make a large 10 foot wide doorway and they supported the wall, built out the frame and boxed it in with drywall. It turned out amazing! They then patched and smoothed the drywall seems and prepped for primer paint. They sprayed the ceilings with 2 coats of primer and the walls with 1 coast as per our request. Once again it was all amazing work.
