Golden Isle Landscaping

Used this service for 15 years. Yard kept getting smaller & smaller as weeds, undergrowth, and pine straw took over yard. Asked workers to fix over the years and some improvement finally last year I realized how bad it had gotten ( it creeps in very slowly & if you work a lot you do t notice so much) and notified owner. He came over and hemmed and hawed and would never do anything. Finally called handyman who fixed everything within a week! This spring I notified golden isles owner about hedges that were getting out of control ( note that I had a personal guarantee from original owner that they would be maintained) and got the runaround that they were so busy that they would have to work me in. But since I wasn't a " monthly" customer ( note that I paid them to come every 2 weeks for 15 years!) that it would be awhile!! That time never came. Finally got a tip for another yard guy who came out in the next couple days and fixed my hedges pushed the yard back some did the lawn and sprayed weeds. Needless to say I no longer use golden isles and would NOT recommend to anyone. Current owner does disservice to previous partner and that is really sad

He was a nice guy.  His plans were good.  I liked his design and I liked the plants he put in but I found difficult to get in touch with him.  At one point it was well over a week before I even heard back from him.  It was a little hard to nail him down or get him and that is the only thing I didn't like.  He offered to do a monthly thing but I said I didn't want it.
