EDR Air Conditioners & Heating

Our air and heat stopped working all of sudden in October of 2013. We called a heating and air company top come out and do a service call on our system to find out what the problem was. The guys that came decided to replace the contact relay on our heat pump and then rewired something on our thermostat. The air came on and worked slightly but the output was nowhere near the output before the unit quit working. We called them again to come out and reexamine the problem and fix it. It took me 34 days to get the service rep out to my house again. By that time we had been without air for 40 days with the temps outside sometimes in the 90's So when the repair guys came back out they said we had an additional problem, he said our unit needed a new control board. My wife and I trusted them so we told them to go ahead and replace it. They replaced the part and the air worked again at the same low output for 2 more days and then it went out entirely again. We called them back and they said they would be out that day to fix it. I took off of work and waited all day at home and no one showed. I called back and the Owner of the company said that they would be out first thing the next morning. I took another day off to be their and again no show. After that I called the owner and told them to not bother sending another technician out. After all that the owner still wanted me to pay for the work done on our system. Needless to say , the company will not see that invoice cleared. So we looked in the yellow pages and called EDR Heating and Air. They came out once, replaced the contact relay again and serviced the entire system, rewired the faulty wiring and now everthing works fine. They were professional, punctual, thorough, and we would gladly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC Service.
