Always great service

First, the vendor (Professional Mechanical Services, Russell Dew) told me that there was a $69.95 diagnostic fee, to which I agreed. Then, he said I had to pay for any parts separately, and I agreed to this as well. He came, disassembled my electric dryer - with some difficulty I might add - and gave me a diagnosis - I needed new drum rollers and shaft. He told me he had to go and get the parts and asked for a $100 deposit. This surprised me and we went back and forth on this for a while. I relented because my dryer was totally disassembled at this point. I gave him a check for $100 dollars, which he returned to me later. He was gone for approximately 3 hours. Upon returning I never saw the parts he supposedly purchased. He took a portion of the dryer on which he was working to his vehicle outside. He then returned and reassembled the dryer, but did not do so completely; he left one attachment off, which I attached myself. The noise in the dryer did stop, but it was not running in the same way that it was prior to the problem. I have presented a bill for $420, which I paid by check. The next day after the vendor left, I remembered that I did not get a receipt for the parts, which I thought I should reasonably receive since he said that I had to pay for them separately. I requested those receipts in a text. The vendor's exact response was, No sir you have your receipt we do not provide receipts. I tried two additional times to obtain a copy of the receipt but to no avail. Overall this was a very bad experience, and I wonder how long the repair will last and whether I was charged for new parts I did not receive. I would encourage any and everyone to stay away from Professional Mechanical Services, Russell Dew.

Kevin was quick to respond, showed up when he said he would, found the problem, fixed it, and charged me what he told me up front. I was very pleased with his service.

My washer needed repair, but my dryer had a problem that drove me to order a new dryer. We set an appointment for the next day, but Kevin told me he could come the same morning and repaired the washer by late afternoon, and then fixed the dryer saving me the cost of a new dryer! Both work better than they have in a long time. Kevin is now on top of my list of appliance repair people!
