Partner Technology/Partner Security

Horrible, probably the worst experience I ever had with a service provider in the past 20 years.  We bought a house that was already equipped with a Partner Technologies Smart system that ideally can control lights, security, and supposedly music and media throughout the house.   Upon moving in, we noticed the receiver (then approximately 2 years old) did not work. Partner Technologies came out and offered us a consult, indicated the system was fried because it was installed incorrectly, and provided us a temporary loaner until a new unit could arrive.  The problem was that it was precisely Partner Technologies who installed the original unit in the house!  I was also billed $95 / hour, which was fine except, most of the time at this consult for which i was eventually billed, the representative sat in my living room idle because he could not contact the owner. 
In preparation for the new unit, we had Partner Technologies do some rewiring, and they convinced us for $250 or so that our four speakers in the main room were insufficient for paying music and sound, so they installed two more.  Unfortunately, the new refurbished unit for which we were charged another nearly $700 arrived, but did not play music correctly.  We were initially told the receiver "needed time to catch up" with the base Partner Technology house unit.  When that did not work, we were told by another  representative over a series of phone calls and visits that the new receiver was not "compatible" with the main Partner Technologies unit and that we would now need to buy a new base unit for $1500-2000.  At this point, we told the representative to take the receiver back.  We later received a bill from Partner Technologies attemtping to collect nearly $2800.  We did pay them $1000 for the wiring and the two speakers we did not need.   I would not recommend this provider to anyone
