Owner of small business that does carpentry, concrete, grading, retaining walls, drainage, tree service etc. I was raised around heavy machinery and carpentry work with strong labor demands in concrete slabs and anything that needs to be addressed for the customers wants and expectations of whatever job's needing to be met professionally and finished in a timely manner with integrity, safety and respectably of the public and consumers well beings. I was raised by my dad, mother, grandma "mama dot" and grandpa "papa" since the day I was welcomed into the world on November 9, 1985. I was brought up with love, hard work and yes butt whoopings when I was in the wrong. I was taught to work and to respect other's and always try your best to help anyone who needs a hand or for one's who aren't able. Yes sir, no sir, and yes ma'am, no ma'am are the way you answered your elders and is still the way they are answered today. I believe in God and I love God in mine and my loved one's lives and if you don't that's ok by me just don't shame my lord or mock my ways in my face to disrespect me. We also serve large contract HOA, apartment complex and commercial locations with maintenance tailored to fit the needs of the area!

"NuVision Landscape Mgmt came out and did a landscaping project for us, and installed a french drain, This was to fix an issue where we had water pooling up next to our house and flooding inside. The solution that his team implemented failed to address the issue almost completely, and actually pooling issue worse. When we originally contracted with his team, they promised that if the solution they implement did not fix the issue they would come out again and fix it. Now that we have had to call for that, Clay and his team are near non-responsive to our attempts to call or email. We are not asking that they come out immediately to fix the problem, but to commit to an appointment, that fits into their schedule. We feel cheated, paying nearly $3K for a solution that doesn't address the problem. Although the sale portion of the company is amazing, and we didn't feel pressured or anything overall, we would not recommend this company due to their failure to follow up client service after the sale."

A gravel driveway can be driven on instantly. While pavers don't technically need to cure, you'll typically be told by a contractor to wait at least 24 hours before driving on any stones or bricks after they've been set. While an asphalt driveway does take up to 72 hours to cure, this is far shorter than the week required for concrete driveways.

Concrete driveways add the most value to your home because they last longer and have a better aesthetic appeal. However, depending on your climate, asphalt may be preferable as it handles freezing temperatures and high heat better than concrete.

Pea gravel can be used as a base for a paver patio, but it’s not the preferred choice. Because it is small and round, pea gravel moves much more easily than other base options, like crushed stone, so it won’t keep your pavers in place properly. 

If you do opt for pea gravel, compact it well and use an additional binding agent (like stone dust) to keep everything from shifting.

Pavers will crack in a fire pit if they are made of the wrong materials. Be sure to use kiln-fired brick paver stones when building your backyard fire pit. You can also purchase a fire pit project kit, which will sometimes come with fire-safe pavers, to help you avoid the guessing game of buying pavers separately.

The layer of polymeric sand under the pavers plus the polymeric sand that gets swept into the joints between your pavers holds them in place in a few ways. For one, the gritty texture of the sand helps lock the pavers together. Polymeric sand also contains bonding agents that get activated by water. Polymeric sand will take between 24 and 48 hours to fully cure, so do not walk on your paver walkway before this time.
