Rays Tire & Auto Repair

Ray's has always done great work at very reasonable prices. I recommend them to anyone looking for an honest local mechanic in Blue Ridge.

They did a very good job at a reasonable price. We have 3 cars so anything that needs to be done, we take it there. They are very good. They have recently updated their equipment so that they have more means to service cars. They are trying to stay on top. They are just the best ones in the area.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Ray's Tire and Auto Repair is very good about checking everything for me so that hopefully I won't break down on a mountain road all alone. In this case, I thought it was time to rotate the tires as they were 2 years old but the car hadn't been driven very much.. They agreed. When the mechanic took the tires off, he looked at them carefully and came to me and said 3 of the tires were bad. The rubber on the bad tires had slices on the back side of them. He discussed the tires with the Manager. The Ray's Tire Manager called the Manufacturer or their tire Supplier (I'm not sure who he called). The manufacturer/Supplier told Ray's Manager that the tires were faulty and that they knew about it.. However, Ray's Tire and Auto Repair had never been notified of this. Ray's saw to it that 4 brand new tires were mounted and balanced and put on my car and I was charged only for the routine oil change. I use Ray's Tire and Auto Repair for everything. I have found them to give outstanding service, they do everything they can to help me, they are extremely honest, never take advantage and are very fair. I wouldn't think of using anybody else.

It went just fine. Courteous and fast.

He honest, and will never steer you wrong. He is a great guy.
