Rich came out promptly but did not call back with the bid, we had to call him. The bid was fair. There were several different crews that worked the job. The crew that delivered the dry wall, the crew that installed the dry wall , the crew that did the mudding and taping, and the crew that did the sanding and clean up. Unfortunately the crew of four that put up the dry wall seemed more interested in "getting the job done" then in doing a very good job. Communication with this crew was not good. The other three crews communicated well. The mudding and taping crew had some work to do to address the dry wall install. All the crews were punctual and there was no lag time between crews doing their work. The drywall crew did say if there were any problems they would come back after it was painted to address them. However, after painting repairs means repainting which could be avoided if repairs were made before the painting. Needless to say we corrected the correctable problems ourselves before we painted the sheetrock.
