These men were very nice and seemed very genuine. They did not show up each day until 9am and worked quite hard it seemed. When they were finishing up the last night here I was very unsatisfied with a lot of the work. The caulking job was hideous. The vinyl flooring looked like it was their first job. They cut the corners to short and in one area had to piece in a square becuase it was that short. The other areas that were cut short and were ripped at the edges due to their neglect they filled the gaps with large amounts of caulk to prevent it from peeling up. The tile job in the bath tub is embarrassing. They did not have the proper equipment so they had to adlib from using bull nose half tile because they did not have a tile cutter. They went with a rectangle PVC trim that is just not acceptable. They claimed that they could not use the nice new faucet set I purchased and so they went with one they conveniently had with them. It did not have the third handle for the shower on/off valve so they left the old ugly one on there. The vanity that they replaced was much lower than the new one. I had just recently redid both bathrooms as far as the walls and trim are concerned, but I could not do behind the other vanity. When these guys took the old one out, they said that they would remove the wall-paper and repair the wall to match what I had done so that you could not see the difference when the new vanity was installed. They just merely painted one coat over the wall paper and all and then installed the vanity. Now I have old wallpaper curled up just above the new vanity. I cringe everytime I walk into my bathroom and look at it. The next morning after they left...I found both toilets to be leaking badly. The vinyl is now ruined there due to the water damage. I had to have the valves and lines on both toilets replaced because they were stripped, worn out, and should never have been reinstalled. Then to top it all off. I let my kids use their new tub that night only to find out that the tub does not hold water. The drain assembly under the tub was not installed correctly. Now the entire tub has to come back out for that to be done, the toilets had to be fixed, and the vinyl has to be redone!!! I have been calling and e-mailing Mr. Carter for almost 3 weeks and get no response since my first call when I told him of these problems. I am fighting to get back just the amount I spent on their labor and I am getting no where fast yet, I have to pay another contractor to fix their mess.
