Doors (Interior) - Install or Replace
David did a good job relocating and installing some doors. I would hire him again for this type of project. This was the first time I have hired someone for this type of work, and it would have been helpful for both of us to set clear expectations up front, including what time his day starts and ends, hence the 3-star rating. Overall, David is very accommodating and helped me move some heavy items. He also had some good suggestions on how to address some other needs and went out of his way to get samples.

I had a slab leak under the kitchen sink. The cabinets were torn off to get to the leak. I was told by two companies that I would have to replace the whole island because it was too damaged to be replaced. Davy said he thought he could replace it. Or at least try. Dale came out and replaced the existing doors and it looks perfect. He saved me a coupl thousand. I will call him for any other project I have.

Doors (Exterior) - Install or Replace
My wife wanted a storm door added to our new entryway 6th months after it was installed :) I contacted David and he ordered the door and parts for me and was very easy to work with. He kept me up to date on the delivery of the materials and scheduling to do the installation. As I live in an older house he of course ran into several LARGE problems. But he and his team came up with an excellent solution quickly. The end results are fantastic. I would highly recommend this team!!! And I would hire them again without hesitation.

Great people, great work. David took time to explain work to be done. Pointed out some other issues that were possible safety concerns. Explained how I could fix them or have him fix. No pressure, just very honest with concerns. The finished deck work was excellent and completed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend Dad's Construction. David was a pleasure to deal with. One other thing they did that exceeded my expectations was that they did an exceptional job cleaning up the job site. They took time to pick up stray nails/screws and etc. Impressive!

Carpentry Framing - Repair
David and Robin replaced the trim around both of my garage doors due to water damage/rot. They used vinyl trim, flashed, caulked, and repainted everything. David also walked around my house with me and pointed out several other areas of concern. He made it clear he was not trying for extra business since he had plenty. He mainly just wanted me to be aware of steps I could take to prevent future headaches and protect my house. Due to David's workmanship and professionalism, I am requesting a quote from him for the additional work.
