I had to change my appointment and never got a call back to reschedule it.

When my daughter first told me about Paige's gift with dogs, I was somewhat doubtful that she'd be able to handle our rather large, and slightly unfriendly Border Collie mix. However after many frustrating hours of attempting to groom our dog, ourselves, I, being at my wits end, decided to give her a try.
After setting up an appointment, I was still doubtful, even as Paige arrived at our home with her mobile grooming trailer, I was doubtful. Sam (our border collie) has never been the most friendly dog on the block (so to speak) and being an old dog has not mellowed him much. So my fears were not unfounded, and I feared his reaction to this intruder on his turf would not be favorable. However, Paige literally had this ornery old fella getting out of her hands within minutes of arriving. I was amazed! But as the grooming session progressed I questioned just how long and how well the actual "grooming" would go. There was still the task of getting Sam into the trailer, onto the table and eventually into the tub. Much to my astonishment, Paige was able to get him into the unit with little to no effort, and once inside she worked relentlessly to make him feel safe and comfortable.
With Sam safely inside, I exited the unit so that Paige could get to work transforming my shaggy, somewhat matted, Sam into a clean, groomed and handsome fella.
As time passed, first one hour, then two, I had to strongly resist the urge to peek in and see how things were progressing.
2.75 hours later when the door swung open and out popped my "new" de-shagged unmatted Sam, tears of joy were shed!
I really did not think it possible for my dog to ever be so clean, so shaven, so handsome again.
Paige is awesome! She did a terrific job on our Sam and I highly recommend her to anyone with pets in need of grooming. Especially the contrary, ornery ones who fight bathing, and leave their owners frustrated.
My fears and doubts have been erased and I now have avregular grooming schedule set up to insure that Sam never becomes the shaggy, tangled and matted mess he was prior to Paige's visit.
