I contact Cooks Appliance to Replace / Repair the Door Hinges on a Kenmore Range. The service technician charged me $70 to confirm what I already knew to be the problem, the door hinges needed Replacement / Repair. Stated 'Needs Hinges' on Cooks Ticket #13731. Service Tech. advised me that the hinges would be ordered immediately and installed by the end of the week. On 9/20/2013, Friday afternoon I contacted Cooks Appliance by telephone and was told the installation would be made by the end of the day. Shortly after 3:30PM on 9/20/2013 Friday I then walked into Cooks Appliance on 401 Water St. to inquire in person about the delay in the installation as promised and was then told that I had misunderstood the installation agenda. If the Range Door hinges could not be installed that day (Friday) then they would be installed the following Monday. On Monday Morning I called the Service Technician's cellphone and requested he return my call about installing the Range Door hinges. No one returned my call. Cooks clipped me for $70 and never Replaced the Range Door Hinges. On Tuesday Morning, 9/24/2013 I arranged for Sears Appliance Repair Service in Tallahassee, FL to Repair the Range Door Hinges.
