If I could give him a zero, I would. Kevin presented himself very well. We needed a French door installed in our home and some drywall completed around the wall. He provided a quote for a few days to complete the entire job and a price of $1500 total. Long story short, he would show up for only a few hrs here and there, bringing another guy with him occasionally to "set" the door in place. His work was very sloppy, leaving mud on trim and the light switch/electical panels that he did not remove for the project. After THREE WEEKS of back and forth, providing an advance of $400, and his choppy schedule due to "other jobs", we finally just told him we would finish the project on our own. It was at that point that I went to stain the door and noticed the bottom had been BROKEN. The door was special order and we inspected at pickup without any damage. When I brought this to his attention, there was no acknowledgement or apology. Then my daughter found the broken piece HIDDEN in the room!

I liked him initially. He provided reasonably good service and showed up. Then I hired him for one job too many. It was a simple yard job and when he was 1/2 done, I paid him since I wouldn't be around when he came back to finish. Since I had history with him, I didn't imagine he would bail on me. Sure enough, he quit on me and never came back to finish the job. He became difficult to reach and when I did reach him, he came up with excuses, but no apology, no plan for when he would come back to finish the job, no offer of a refund or even a partial one, and not even an attempt to renegotiate if that was his problem. Waiting for this ghost ended up ruining part of my lawn. I was so disappointed since I thought I'd finally found a budget yet professional handyman. My recommendations would be to spend a little more money to hire a responsible and professional handyman service or to at least not pay him anything until the job is 100% complete and satisfactory. I used to be very price conscious which is how I came to use Kevin, but am finding that I get what I pay for in most cases..

I was happily surprised by his level of professionalism at first. Then it went south. He came to another house to clear the leaves. He left it less than 1/2 done saying they would come back to finish. I paid him for the whole job (yes, I know....) and he never came back, didn't call, didn't return my calls, and basically became a ghost. He left piles of leaves that then killed the grass in several spots. I was even going to pay him more after I realized the size of the job, but since He never answered his phone again and never returned, no more money. Dependability is out the window.

I sold my house and the house inspection turned up a few issues with my deck and two of my toilets. I was struggling to find someone to do the work in the limited time I had to fix the issues. Among the handymen that either didn’t return my call, or no showed appointments, Kevin was the one that came through. He was able to come the next day with Tony and review the work that needed to be done. After looking at the issues with my toilets he determined I needed a plumber and put me in contact with one. He and Tony worked around my schedule and got the work done on the deck. They were easy going and professional. If Keven can’t do the work, he’ll be honest about it and get in touch with someone he trusts to do the work. I definitely recommend him as a handyman!

Kevin did an outstanding job. The work was high quality. Communication was excellent with all commitments being met. The price was fair and agreed upon in advance. I will definitely call Kevin when I need a handy man.

Kevin was out of town on a long term project so he provided me contact information for someone he works with. That worker returned my call same day to set an appointment. He arrived on time and promptly replaced several bulbs and batteries.

Kevin was outstanding! He advised me on the type of paint needed, helped me choose my color, and and completed the job in the promised time. He was punctual, professional, and extremely polite. He took his time with every detail, and it shows. My driveway and walkway look terrific. He does all kinds of painting on the exterior of homes and specializes in drywall on the inside as well.
