Voltz Electrical Service

I have used Voltz for more than 10 years for electrical work and repairs. As a property manager and real estate agent, I confidently recommend Voltz to my clients because Voltz has consistently done great work over the years.

After reading online reviews, I decided to hire Voltz Electrical, but unfortunately, it proved to be the wrong choice. On December 16, 2024, an electrician visited my property to resolve HVAC and electrical issues. He spent an hour and a half troubleshooting the HVAC problem, which was fixed by tightening a loose wire terminal. For this service, Voltz charged $150, calculated at their rate of $100 per hour. They then informed me that inspecting the building for electrical issues would require an additional $200, with extra costs for any necessary repairs. At this point, I felt their charges were unreasonable and asked the electrician to stop. I paid $150 for the completed work but decided not to continue with their services. Other companies offer more reasonable rates, and I will not be hiring Voltz Electrical again. When I called the owner to explain why I stopped the service, they responded in an unprofessional and rude manner, insisting their pricing was standard. I would strongly discourage anyone from hiring this company.

Very professional organization. I contacted them shortly after Hurricane Helene hit Augusta GA, and they were on site the following morning. The repairs were completed quickly and they were also the least expensive option in town even though many of their competitors were exponentially higher, they took the higher road. We will always be thankful for Richard and his team.

Patrick arrived as scheduled. He listened to the sequence of events I described up to loss of power to an electrical outlet. The, he worked methodically from the power panel to the outlet, diagnosing the problem and correcting it. His professional manners and kind nature added to the item being placed back into service. Patrick's and Richard's work for us in the past decade continue to have us select VOLTZ as our preferred electrical service. When you've found the best, why bother with the rest? It's VOLTZ for us every time an electrical need arises.

The techs got in and out quickly and professional.

Excellent....Patrick Gilmer and assistant arrived a little before time requested and got right to work. Diagnosed the problem (bad timer unit) and had us up and running in a couple of hours. Brought electrical input to water heater up to code and replaced the timer with a cutoff switch to the heater. Very professional and friendly. Would recommend Voltz Electrical Service to everyone. Both of their techs are an asset and an extremely professional reflection on Voltz. Definitely keepers!

I would never recommend this company nor The technician. He called to see if he could arrive two hours early. I made arrangements to accommodate his request. His English was urban slang at best. The job requests I made were standard but he had an excuse for each request as to why it each could not be Executed. I never received an estimate or a follow up call. Had I of behaved this way in my field, I would have to find another job

Crew was prompt and professional. They were on time for rewiring work to install ceiling fans. The work required crawling around our dingy attic and they even swept up the floor after the job was done. Would absolutely hire again.

Tenants moved out leaving 7 non-working outlets. We replaced both nonworking and working outlets and breakers with no improvement in the situation. Contacted Voltz who responded on time. They were required to crawl under the house (I'm too old to do this!) to find the issue and repair. It was a dirty job best left to those who are young and flexible! Will use their services again as needed.

They diagnosed the problem then they did what was needed to correct.

Thorough check revealed no problem so charged only service call and no further problems

Chris was great! He was polite and very professional. He jumped right on the problem and also recommend that i replace the breaker to a 30 amp, which i had a 40 amp breaker. I will definitely use Voltz again. I will say my only draw back is that i called over the weekend and they only do emergency situations. This ends up causing someone to take off work. They did follow up promptly on Monday morning to schedule someone to come out. They are great and i highly recommend them.

Prior to that, they installed a light unit in the dinning room. I think they are a little high but they do good work. They are very professional and know what they are talking about. The workers are excellent. They do a thorough job and they will warn you about anything that was done wrong and correct it.

Overall, very pleased with the two electricians who performed the work.

Great. They called before arriving and were very thorough and professional. I hadn't noticed the AC problem when they were here yesterday, and they came back out first thing this morning to fix it and were even able to file it under the same service call.

It went really well.

Voltz could not locate the problem therefore no repair.
