I'd been looking to hire a cleaning service for a while and found Teresa's listing on this site. My only initial concern was that it had been so long since anyone had written a review for her. She's cleaned for me several times now and I really enjoy working with her. She's very friendly and does a great job cleaning my 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath home. Her only requests are that I have things picked up before she gets here and that if I find anything wrong/missed, that I let her know so she can fix it in the future. There have been a couple scheduling conflicts; once, when an earlier job was far larger than expected, and a second time when she was sick. Both time's she called as soon as she was able to let me know and to reschedule.

I'm glad that Teresa was punctual and seemed eager to do a good job; we exchanged texts and phone conversations about what we wanted done. I think we had a miscommunication between what I wanted done and what she was able to provide. My original request was for a deep clean; I've recently had an increase of responsibilities at work and a car accident which left with me a bum knee so I have not been able to keep up with my housecleaning in the manner of what I am used to. I was volunteered by my family to host this T'day festivities so you can imagine my panic when the thought of having people over into an uncleaned house; I was pretty much in emergency mode!
Luckily, Teresa was available and was able to come by to help me out with my situation. I do appreciate her availability, but considering my original request for a deep clean, I think she may have been overwhelmed. Not saying she didn't do a great job, but I am more than willing to admit that my house needed at least a two person team, which I thought I would get, considering past reviews.
I appreciate the efforts that Teresa made; she gave me a very reasonable quote, and I knew what she was coming into so I offered more than her original quote for her services. She did accomplish most of what I wanted done. I admit my list was long, but I would have been willing to pay extra to have everything done that I needed.
Bottom line: I would definitely hire Teresa if it came to a regular upkeep kind of an arrangement, would love to have her come by every two weeks, but if it came to a one time deep clean, I would look more towards a two woman/man crew to get the job done.
And although I admire Teresa's honesty, I just have to say: the reason I would hire a cleaning crew is because I know that my house needs cleaning. I wouldn't be looking for someone else to clean it otherwise. To be constantly reminded that my house is dirty and disgusting the entire time you're cleaning it is not a way to get repeat business. Also, the cigarette break in a smoke-free home did not go unnoticed.
Bottom line, thank you very much for the initial clean, floors and bathroom looked great, and thank you for your time.

Teresa and Beth come to my house every week and do a fantastic job! They are always on time and their cost is extremely reasonable. They are honest and dependable, and my house sparkles when they are done. They are a treasure, and I am very happy that I found them through Angie's list several months ago.

The work was just "ok." She asked if we would pre-clean and we told her if we had to pre clean we didn't need her. Poor people/business skills.

"The first time we went to clean we had to charge xtra for first time clean, i gave her a figure, she was already prepared for this and gave me more than i asked for. We went to her house every other week, they have i believe 4 or 5 dogs the floors were pretty bad, as well as the kitchen counter tops with pet dander, the main reason i asked her to preclean was her toilet in master bathroom they used it and everytime they had a bowel movement the fecies would be stuck to the tolilet as well with the soiled toilet paper, two weeks of this, the inside of the toilet was pretty bad and very hard to clean. We cleaned it a couple times and it was never any better, so i felt i needed to say something. I cant believe they would even let anyone see that. I have very good reviews, ive learned over 25 yrs of cleaning you just cant pleasr everyone."

I called Teresa and she was very responsive. We arranged a time and she met me at the house we were moving in to and then followed me back to the house we were moving out of so she could give me quotes on both. She quoted me $125 for each house. We scheduled for January 25th for the new house and then February 1 - a week later - for the house we were moving out of. We would be out by then. Both were to be deep cleans and both homes were to be empty and they were.
She showed up on time with a new person - she had said she could do the new house on her own - that her regular partner couldn't make that date but I was concerned it would be too much for her so she found someone to help her. They arrived at the new house at 9:00 on time. She said it would take until 2:30. I left her there and went back to the old house - we were in the middle of packing. To my surprise, she called at 11:30 and said they were done. I went over to check it out and pay her. I went through the house but didn't look at everything. It smelled good and on the surface, looked clean. I paid her and she left. During the next five days, we started moving things from the old house into the new house and as we were doing that, we kept discovering things that clearly hadn't even been touched/opened/scrubbed/dusted. She hadn't cleaned anything up high, in cabinets, fans, etc.
On the Thursday prior to the second appointment to clean the old house, Teresa called to confirm the appointment. and she sounded ready to roll. We played phone tag a few times and then I left her a voice mail. On that voice mail, I told her I was concerned about the quality of the first clean. I was nice about it and said that maybe it was the other person she had had with her that day because it was her first day. But said, the house we were moving out of had to be much, much better. I never cancelled and asked her to call me back. Well, needless to say, I never heard from Teresa again. She never called back, never showed up. She isn't in great health and I was concerned that maybe she had fallen ill, but I can see from the dates of some recent reviews, that's not the case. If you decide to use her, make sure you check everything. I hate to be that white glove person and I wasn't but I should've checked her work more closely. That's what you get for trusting people.

"[removed member name], you looked over everything before we left, i even told you areas i had trouble with, you were satisfied when we left, i never know how long it will take me in a house, the one you were moving to was a easy clean, i told you i've been doing this for 25 yrs, yes the girl that helped me that day was new, you are talking about top shelves not being cleaned, please understand there was nothing for us to stand on, we were playing phone tag, part of what your saying is not being truthful, you has told me you had already done some cleaning on the old house, and just needed a few rooms done, the kitchen being the biggest cleaning, i did call you back and left you a message saying, that since you did do the biggest part of it, i had said that beth lived about 45 mins from and had to pick me up, go home, it would have cost her 20.00 in gas ecause of the vehicle she has, i said it didnt make good business since to end up only making a few dollars and i never heard back, and yes you were right when you said about the white glove test. If you look at all my reviews and they are good ones, so something is wrong with this picture, why are you just doing this now anyway, its been 6 weeks since we were there. I know we did a good job, im sorry we could'nt please you."

The two women are fast and outstanding! I wish I'd found them sooner. I won't publish her costs as it's dependent on size of home etc. Very reasonable though!

I had a great experience with Teresa and would definitely hire her again in the future. She gave me a very reasonable estimate over the phone and coordinated with another client to ensure she could fit my house in during the busy pre-Christmas season. She and Beth showed up right on time after calling to let me know they were on the way. After walking through our house, she reduced her estimate by 50% because she said she could do the work faster than she expected. Her initial estimate was already very reasonable, and she could have easily charged me the full amount, so I appreciated her honesty. She and Beth did a great job in the time she estimated and were packed up and on their way in about an hour and a half, leaving a sparkly clean house behind.

She and her helper are detailed and I appreciate that. She pulls all chairs away from tables cleans under table and details chairs. I am very happy. She comes bi-weekly and hope soon to start her weekly. When she is here she is working, unlike other services I have hired. She has asked me to look over things before she leaves to make sure I am satisfied. Unlike other services I have hired. I am happy to know that unlike in the past...the same person will come into my home and not a stranger.

She does a great job each week. The only reason I gave her any "B's" is
some weeks you can tell aren't her best. However we all don't work our
