Terminix - Augusta -Termite & Pest Control

After 7 treatments in 3 months, Terminix has failed to resolve that flea infestation. Now they refuse to either refund my money or fix the problem. Additionally, the technicians and the office manager have been increasingly hostile over the phone, and have been expressed skepticism as to if I am getting bit, where in my house I am seeing fleas, how many fleas I'm seeing, whether I know what a flea is, whether I am following the instructions they have given me, etc. Ineffective service, awful customer service, and fails to follow through on their "best guarantee in the business." I attached photos of fleas found alive and inside my house *after* 7 treatments by Terminix. These fleas were all found in a 48 hour time period, by me.

Our biggest issue has been persistent problems with roaches.  We've had to call them back 3-4 times in between quarterly visits.  We have not had this problem before with other pest control services, yet we have never lived in the home until April, 2012.  Terinix has nice people but the sprays seem weak.

Bad service.

They serviced a rental property for pest control issues. Overall the service was pretty good, but they did not adequately communicate with me regarding their plans for solving my problem. I think that things would have gone more smoothly if I had been better informed.

Do use a termite protection plan for your home from whatever company you prefer, but when it comes to repairs, make sure the materials and labor costs are fair and not overblown.  A good handyman  or private contractor would have done a much better job for us at a much better price.     Also, if you feel the work is not up to par, be aware that Terminix may not want to work with you on negotiating a fairer price.

We were not overly pleased with them. They came out and did the initial treatment but when we got billed afterwards but we never seen anyone. They said they had come out but we never seen them so in my mind I wanted someone to make contact with me and say look we are actually here and we are doing our follow up on your initial treatment. It is quite possible that they did show up but it would have been nice for someone to make contact so that there was no doubt. It didn't just happen once but happened a couple of times. We found a bill and we never seen anybody. We called them and told them and we haven't had anyone follow up with us on that. Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend them.

They have good service. They come out whenever I needed them to.Overall, their service is excellent.

We have been using them since 1996, we have had different technicians over the years and all of them have been very nice including the last technician that came out, Ron; we have been very lucky with that.  We have dogs and in our ticket they have written, ‘don’t let the dogs out’ in big bold letters.  They do a great job for us and I have had no complaints with them at all.  They come every quarter and it is $70 every quarter, it is well worth it.  One thing I do like about Terminix over other pest companies is, they do a barrier method outside the house because we try to avoid a lot of chemicals inside the house and so far, we haven’t had any issues with that.  The last time we had them come inside but very rarely, they mainly just do the perimeter outside the house.

I give them a "C" overall. I will use them again.

I have had no problems at all with them.  I was satisfied with the work they did.

I hate bugs and if I thought I had one, I wouldn't sleep again.  I will continue to use them in the future. 

We've been with them for 6 years. The last visit was free because it was in-between visits. It was part of their guarantee.

So we called Terminix they quoted us a great price over the phone. Actually it was the cheapest quote we recieved to do the amount of work they did. They also got someone out the next day which was even better. The gentlemen showed up 30 minutes early. He was very friendly he came in and we told him about the problem we were having. He checked out our kitchen and both bathrooms he said those are the favorite places for roaches to hide apparently. He then ask us if we could remove everything in our lower cabinets in my kitchen. He was gonna spray and he liked to be extra cautious if we didnt mind and I didnt mind at all it was just for 2 hours then we could replace everything. I appreciated him taking the extra precaution. While we got busy taking things out of the cabinets he went outside and sprayed and baited around our whole perimeter of our house for not only roaches but ants and anything else that is creepy crawlly. He then came back inside and sprayed my entire kitchen and baited behind my drawers and all the others crevises you can think of. He did the same in the bathrooms. I was very surprised by the fact that there was hardly any odor at all from the spray and what odor there was disappeared in no time. When he was finished with all his work he then sat down with us to explain what all he had done once again and that we did have german roaches but we shouldnt see any live ones after a couple days but its something we needed to stay on top of with regular treatments every couple months. We were very happy with the professionalism and kindness of Terminix and I have already scheduled them to return to treat my house again in a couple months. Even better I still have not seen another live roach after they treated our home.

I am satisfied with the services provided. I would use them again.

Everything was fine.  The service was excellent.  They were punctual.  They are customer friendly.

I have been using this company for twenty years. They are always punctual. They never bother me; they just do their job, collect their pay and leave. They do any extra that we need them to do. I feel the pricing is very fair. I plan to use them again in the future.

 

They did an excellent job and they were on time. It cost about $100 and I had a $50 off coupon. I liked their professionalism and the gentleman who came down and explained was very helpful. I told him certain problems that I was having and he showed me how to work with those problems and how to handle certain things; and I had a good experience with him. I was calling around and their price is pretty much in the price lines that I have seen for exterminators. They would be there on time; did what they had to do and got out.  I will use them again in the future and in fact, I have an ongoing contract with them.

They are very good. I have a contract with them. I spend $70 for the pests. I don't have to call them. They come out like they are supposed to and they do what they are supposed to do. I don't have any pest problems so they must be doing what they are supposed to do. Every once in a while I have a problem and they come out at no charge. Sometimes I have overreacted and they said that is common and they come out anyway. They are professional. They do a thorough and good job. The price is reasonable.

I've been using them for a while. Their service is good and they will come back if I have any issues.

Successful on both occasions.

Terminix showed  up on time and completed the work as promised. Technician was very professional, and took ample time to explain the treatment methods and expected results.Work was done according to proposal. This was a 107 degree day and the technician completed his work in the attic and crawl space without any complaints. I have signed up  for a quarterly service for pest treatments.

I am on a quarterly service contract. I think they are a franchise and the local company that we use is responsive and comes when they say they are going to come and do what they say they will do. They do an inside and outside service and we don't have any problems with them. I think their prices are a little higher than some other companies we checked but the service is good so that makes up for it. I will continue to use this company.

Actually, since Friday, I really liked them. When I called them to find out if they deal in that area for Angie’s List, they don’t use those coupons that Angie’s List had online because they were not affiliated with Terminix International, they are a separate branch of them. In addition, specifically for that area they were actually on Phone a Friend List, the help that I was getting service for. They had been wonderful to work with so far. We have animals, and we told them about our worries about giving pest services with the animals living here and the animals being exposed to something. They had been using patents. We had actually taken all the animals out of the place before on our own. They went and laid baked worms and within a couple of days, there was a huge vertical difference. I would definitely recommend them. They were wonderful. In terms of price, with the bill I got I would give them a “B”. In terms of punctuality, they were normally early. I would use their services again in the future.

He comes on a regular basic. I've had them for several years now and they just come in and do the inspections and check the outside. If I need them to come in, then I arrange that. I do yearly. I have a termite contract and the pest control. They have other options too, but I save money if I do it yearly. I get a discount if I go ahead and do yearly. They have several ways if I can set it up too which is good. They'll either call me to set up an appointment if that's what I want done or if I just want them to come without calling and setting up an appointment, they'll do that. They are very responsive to how I need my things done. They are very conscientious. They make sure they come and check things. I had another company before and I didn't notice, but they had left and they just never said anything. Terminix always come when they are supposed to come. They send me renewal notices and then the particular technician that I have is wonderful. I've had the same technician for years and he does a wonderful job. I would continue to use them in the future.
