Watch Repair
The business is operated in two parts. One man fixes clocks and the other watches. This review is for the watch repair person only. I took in two antique watches for appraisal in mid May. Both needed repair, but decided to only have one fixed. Left the watch for a more complete estimate by the watch man who was not there. I called later and received an estimate of $100 for repair and cleaning and I agreed. The watch man said he would order the parts. I called him several times over the following two months. He kept telling me the parts hadn't come in yet. The week before I picked up the watch, he told me the parts were in and the repair would be completed by the following Wednesday. I told him I would pick it up on the following Friday. He assured me it would be done. On the day I went in to pick it up, the watch man was not there. The clock man found the envelope with my watch and nothing had been done. There were no parts ordered or repairs made. I don't know how he stays in business. The clock guy seemed to be very busy with many older clocks being worked on. I might bring my antique clocks to him.

Watch Repair
The watch was serviced in a reasonable amount of time and worked well when I picked it up. I had no problems until i noticed the face was foggy yesterday. Turns out my waterproof watch now has condensation under the crystal. This has never happened when I have had the watch serviced elsewhere. It seems that Sweeneys should have made the watch water tight, or at least alerted me that it was no longer waterproof. I intend to take the watch to a Rolex dealer and write off this as a (albeit costly) lesson learned. Do not trust this shop with servicing a Rolex.

Watch Repair
When I left my watch, I was told it would be ready in about one week, and that I would be called. I never received a call, but returned about 10 days later to inquire if it was ready. He looked at the envelopes of items that were done, and handed me the watch. No apology, no "thank you" for coming. it was my first experience with this business, so i expected more.
