Easy to work with

I recently had Summit Green Solutions do the roof of my commercial building. BEWARE do you use this company. Whatley Bush presents himself like he is a roofing company. He is not. He subs contracts the work out. He did this with me and then did not pay his subcontractors. As a result of this I have a property lien on my building and no warranty!! I know of two other businesses in the same town that he has done this to. Frankly I am surprised he can get anyone to do work for him. I cannot stress enough do not use him!!

Friendly but not as professional as hoped. No contract given at outset (had to request this); warranty information not given at outset. Workers nice, honest, and pretty well skilled but need improvement with reliability and appropriate use of home while owner was away.

I hired Whatley Bush on May 16th for a 4 day roof repair. Then the horrible circus began. The 2 subcontracters showed up the next day in the late afternoon and started the job. I coukd obviously tell they were on drugs. They opened my roof . And then the rain started. They had no tarps. It took 2 days for the tarps to arrive. I had rain flowing thru my ceiling in the kitchen, dining and eventually the bathroom. On the 4th day of cleaning up extreme amounts of water in my home. Friends showed up to help me get a huge tarp and cement blocks to cover their small tarps. I paid half up front to have my situation worsened by their awful work. Most days they showed up late afternoon or evening. Most of the time the owner of the company would not respond to my text. I had to beg for fans to move air around in my house. It goes on and on. I have contacted home advisors to see if they can help me with the situation. I have a compromised immune system and have had to stay in the home with all the mess. They have put my health at risk. I will be calling a attorney to handle this nightmare of a situation.

Be sure before you hire them.

Not worth hiring. A 2-3 day job took more than a week and only got half done. Crew was two guys for the first two days and then one guy for the remainder of the job. They spilled chemicals in the driveway and their equipment never worked consistently. When their 2-3 day job stretched into the 8th day, we let them go and hired someone else who got the job done in 6 hours and for almost 1/2 the price of this company. Owner also really hard to reach. He was supposed to remove his trailer from our property but hasn’t done so yet, so we have a dilapidated trailer, barrels of chemicals, and leaking equipment still sitting in our driveway four days after they finished. Save yourself the headache and hire someone who cares about their company

Took too long. The men were messy, disorganized. The electrician/applicator/labor guy seemed overwhelmed. He was always complaining about the owner. All in all, a bad experience.

Hired them in 6/16 (gave a 50% deposit). I was told it would take a little bit of time to get the replacement shingles (asphalt but look like slate). Waited a few months and started calling. Finally got a hold of W. and he said he'd get us on the schedule. Was still a few weeks before someone came over and washed the roof. A couple more when someone showed up to pick up the equipment they had left behind for another job. Waited a few more weeks for someone else to show up and wash the roof again. The next time someone showed up he spent the morning cleaning out and organizing his vehicle. He did however manage to remove some tiles. Basically the last time anyone showed up they put tar paper over the bare spot. I still have scaffolding, a sprayer bottle up on my roof. They left rags all over my azaleas and the wire tile brackets all over my yard. Repeated attempts to contact W. have met with "I'll be sending someone over" to now no response at all. It is now the middle of 4/17. Beware anyone who hires this company - maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

The crew was very professional and they did an excellent job.

Review by R.Webb in Augusta,GA. Fine old home slate roof replace/repair. Had to fire him after 6 months and job still not done! Multiple leaks and damage to ceilings due to old slate removed and weeks/months before replaced. Rarely answered or responded to phone and Emails. Paid 1/2 up front, another 1/4 after 3 months, hoping he would finish. He then said he would finish in 2 weeks. Three months later and I still have tarps on 1/4 of my roof. Left messages and sent emails asking for reply or just some info on what he planned next. He never responded again. Now I must hire someone else to finish job. Would not recommend this man/company to do anything. He seems very professional and trustworthy, but he is not.

They did a great job

Our home was under insulated and had blown in stuff in the attic, and aging roll insulation underneath. Whatley sold us on many fronts, his knowledge, humor and salesmanship, plus his honest work ethic stood out for us. The crew came out and removed old insulation top and bottom, then "created the igloo cooler on top, sealed under the home with closed cell. Our home is warmer in winter, cooler in summer with a consistent 45 % humidity and 68-78 temp. The young man who did the work was very efficient and hard working. My request for the service was answered immediately. I would definitely recommend this company.

Thought price was very reasonable for the service. Helpers were very polite and work was finished as expected.

Whatley was wiling to help in the way that best fit my budget. He was informative and followed up to make sure I was happy. His workers were courteous and thorough. If you have insulation concerns, you should call summit green solutions.

Great company great products

I just had my main attic completed and Summit Green Solutions did a fabulous job in the small timeline I gave them and they gave me a great price. I spoke to many of their clients before I went through with the insulation project and they were very happy that their energy bills went down drastically. In the next few days I plan on turning my attic into another room and I don't even expect to have a rise in energy costs. Thanks guys!

Summit Greens worked long hours ensuring the job was done and a big job it was. spraying my entire attic gave me a new home with greatly improved comfort and energy savings. Im one happy customer, a feeling i havent felt in a long time.
