Lifesavers!  Our furnace opted to give out right in the midst of an ice storm!  We called three different companies for estimates for repair / replacement.  Of the three companies, Roper was the only one that didn't charge ($85.00) for a service call / estimate.  They were also the only one who were honest about repairs needed.  For the price the other two companies gave just to repair the furnace, Roper was able to replace the furnace and ac unit (gas pack.) EXCELLENT installation and attention to detail!  
Now 2016, we have Roper service our unit twice a year (preparation for the summer and again for winter.)

Roper had installed our AC / Furnace a few years ago (during a mini ice storm) when our furnace gave out. They did an amazing job back then- came out quickly, were very informative and gave us several options to choose from. After installation, they handled all the rebate paperwork! Amazing!!!
Recently our AC stopped on a Sunday evening during one of the HOTTEST weekends this year. Roper was able to squeeze us into their already packed schedule. They came out the next morning, determined that ants had gotten into the AC unit and blown a capacitor (a rather common occurrence in the south.) Fortunately, replacement parts were covered under warranty (thanks to their assistance when selecting the unit) we were up and running in no time and had to pay nothing other than the labor (which included the ant removal!) Again... Amazing!
We've recommended Roper several times.... and call them to service an ancient AC unit at a rental house we manage as well.
(Which I would like to add... three other local companies said the unit would have to be replaced as there was "No Way" to get the AC working. Well, Roper found a way, at a minimal cost... the unit is working just fine.)

Prompt, courteous, knowledgable, thorough. We will use them again if needed. Very pleased.
