Services we offer
Our company is a "do all" business. We are General Contractor's licensed, insured & bonded for 30+ years. While building homes was part of our "services", it's not something we do now. We always tell our customer's "we do it from the ground up".

This contractor was recommended by the person who wrote te other reviews on Angie's list. On August 14, 2012, I received the estimate and gave the Phillips a deposit of $4,000, which was slightly more than half of the original estimate. At that time, they asked me if I was in a hurry. I said no, never dreaming that 100 days later the job would not be half done.I have four new doors with no molding, no finishing, and no new knobs and dead bolt locks. The deck has been sealed. There is no garage door or opener. Mr. Phillips said he discovered termite damage (only about a week before he stopped working)..
Other termite damage in the house was also discovered. He tore up walls and flooring in 2 rooms. None of that work was done, even though I gave him $2,000 towards the work.A new pet door was not installed. Mr. Phillips installed the old pat door, and left the cover off, allowing a constant flow of cold air into my house. the doot had been in good working condition prior tp this.
Shortly after the work was started, I was asked to give them more money cause they needed it.. Foolishly, I gave then the additional money, leaving only a $2,000 balance. Towards the end of the time they were still working, I asked to see receipts for materials they had purchased for the job. Mr. Phillips refused to do so.
I finally wrote to the Phiilips asking the to deliver any materials they had purchased for my job. I receiverd nothing. I also asked for a refund of part of my money. After a week, I have not heard from them, nor have I received a refund. I have also discovered that Mr. Phillips is NOT in the data base of licensed contractors in the county in which I live. His business card indicatyes thhat he is licensed. I asked for a copy of his license. I did not receive it.
The Phillips only worked an average of 3 houes per day, a day which helps to explain the slow pace of the work. They did not work in cold, rainy, or windy weather.
I have dismissed the Phillips. I have had to hire another mcontracto to get my work done in a satisfactory manner.
