I think that Paradise is probable the best groomer in town.  I have use a number of others and the wife does not seem to complain when our dogs are groomed at Paradise and she does when I take them somewhere else.

Paradise Kennel's "Policy" dictates to all clients including those wanting to have a pet groomed and picked up within a few hours, not all day. For clients that work and are limited to picking their pet up at the end of the day the above makes sense.

NO EXCEPTIONS!

Understandably it would take planning and effort on Paradise Kennels to reasonably accommodate each and every client. I've had three previous groomers where I've lived prior, that managed their schedule accordingly. Paradise Kennels appears to be lazy and inefficient. I can find better elsewhere or do my pets grooming myself.

I rated this business "D" a "BAD" rating, based on their "Customer Service" wanting to rate them an "F", however I do not know how well their actual grooming is.

We have taken our dogs to Paradise for over 15 years for grooming and boarding. They might be a little more expensive but I know my dogs will always be well cared for and their grooming will be consistently groomed to my satisfaction. The staff is helpful and friendly. We tried a few other groomers to save a little money but I think we will stick with these guys for peace of mind. I love their attention to detail.

The staff is very professional. I dropped our dog off at the appointed time and there was no wait. We agreed upon the pick up time and Winston was ready as promised. He was very calm and it apparently was not a distressing time for him. He has never looked so good. They did a very expert job of washing, brushing, and trimming him. We were very pleased.

My dog was boarded for a week while I was away. I feel my dog was well taken care of. She was happy and healthy when dropped off and was the same when picked up.

Paradise Kennels watched our two Boston's for a few days. The pups came back happy and clean. The staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. The price isn't the best we've paid, but definitely not the worst. It is reasonable, especially for the great care they took of our furbabies.

,We recently boarded our aging poodle who requires multiple medications with Paradise Kennels, after a negative experience with another local kennel on June 9th. We had to call at the last minute for her first visit on June,15, 2012 (5 days), and we were assured that they had room for her and that she would be given her meds. We were immediately impressed with the professionalism and the organiziational procedures employed by the personnel. They were prepared for our arrival, and immediately acknowledged Candi by name. She was well cared for on this first visit.
On July 5, 2012 (10 day visit) , we returned to Paradise. This time, we opted for her to have 2 Pamper Sessions in addition to the regular boarding fees. At this time we are very pleased with the special care and treatment Candi received from the staff at Paradise Kennels. When we walked in to pick her up, they commented about how she wags her tail every time she sees you. We will definitely be returning to Paradise Kennels when we need someone to take care of Candi.
Candi had behavior changes after her negative experience. At night in her crate, she would whine like a puppy. She continued to do this after her first visit at Paradise, but not after her second experience.

Overall, this is our second time using Paradise Kennel but this was the longest time that we were away from home for a week and the family pet, a Yorkie-Poo named Cinnamon ( 1 1/2 year old) she was placed in the kennel for the week. The were nice enough in letting my daughter look to see where her dog was going and walked around and answered her questions. We came with her food, blankets, and toys for the week. After picking her up she was anxious and excited in seeing us and couldn't wait to go home. While also there she was groomed. After a week of being home there was no problems of any kind with Cinnamon, she ate, drank water went to the bathroom just like before we left. No medical issues at all.

My 13 year old Golden Retriever Cody passed away at my home while I was at work. My mother called Paradise A/H to get in touch with Paradise Kennels even though it was after business hours. The hospital contacted Mr. Richard Long (owner) of Paradise Kennel and informed him that my loved pet had passed away. He called me approximately 10 minutes later and we arranged to have him pick Cody up that evening. He said that he was currently busy and it might take 1-2 hours. He arrived in less than an hour and brought a stretcher in to retrieve Cody. He was very gentle and sympathetic to my plight. He was able to perform the cremation the following day.

My cat is 15 years old and recently suffered a stroke. I had two trips planned for the holidays and needed a place that would keep an eye on her and care for her. I called the kennel on Saturday and was able to bring her in on Monday. They require proof of current vaccinations which they included in her record with her vet's info and emergency contact information. The staff was friendly and reassuring. They answered any questions I had and let me go into the kennel area to see her in the run (cage) before I left. It was very clean. Even though it had a cement floor for easy cleaning, they had fleece mats on a large part of the floor. I liked that the cats have their own area and that I could not hear dogs barking. I was able to bring special food for her, her medicine, and a familiar fleece throw from home. They also have a vet's office on the property. They assured me that if she showed any signs of relapse they would take her to their vet. I did call to check on her, and they were just as friendly and informative on the phone. When I picked her up, she looked well cared for. They have a grooming service and clipped her nails for me for a fee. This was actually our second stay within a month. She stayed there at Thanksgiving - two weeks after her stroke. I was very pleased with the level of care she received and with the staff at the kennel. I could tell that they have procedures in place that are followed and are very organized. I would not hesitate to use them again.
