Nichols is a neighborhood auto repair shop that is honest and will treat your car like it was his own. I will not hesitate to let them work on my collector car.

Cost $395 just to replace the starter ($230 parts/$165 labor). Car Parts store quoted $160 (new). He claimed 2.5 hrs labor which, as another mechanic explained, involves removing two bolts and replacing an easily-accessible starter. Service was prompt, but I feel I got ripped off, cost-wise.

She thought there was some problem with the car and when she went there they diagnosed that the gas cap was loose and they didn't charge her for it, but she also had an oil change. I would take my car in there, too.

He's always been very fairly priced. He always gives you the old part that he replaced so you know he's not ripping you off. He's always done a very good job. We will continue to go here.
