Modern Roofing & Metal Works

The name of the company that I contracted with is Modern Roofing Technologies, LLC.  That was May 6th of 2015 and they didn't get started until October.  I paid them like $6000, that was half of the price, so my balance of $6000 was left to be paid and they did not do all that was on the contract, they didn't do everything that they were suppose to be doing and the guys name was Nick Chobe and his brother, but when I got ready to write the final check he gave me another name and like I say, they were not good, I would never use them again neither would I refer them to anybody.  It was $12000 for a complete roof that leaked when they were done and it was not leaking when they did the roof.  So, yeah, that was bad.  They got the deposit in May, they started in October and in my opinion there still not finished but anyway I had paid them the last payment was approximately December.

I contacted Herbie with Modern Roofing because I had a roof leak on a rental house; he was recommended by a friend. He finally called me with a price and I told him to go ahead with the repairs. He called and said he wanted to come to my house to pick up the $800.00 which he did. After the next hard rain the roof leaked again. I called Herbie to tell him the roof was still leaking and he said he would call the guy who fixed the roof and send him back. I told him I was under the impression he did the repairs. He said he hired someone to do the repairs. I asked him how much money he made on the repairs and he stated it was hardly worth his time to drive over and pick up the check. Right. The person who fixed the roof went back and put down silicone. The roof is still leaking. I called Herbie back again two weeks ago and he said he would work up an estimate to fix the roof and I have not heard from him.
