About us

I started out building jails and hospitals and decided to go into business for myself doing residential work. I do all of my work with 2 to 4 crew members. None of my work is subcontracted out; I believe in staying on the job from start to finish with my men. I'm licensed, bonded and insured. There is no charge for estimates and ask me about a 10% discount if you found me on Angie's List.

King Construction performs excellent work. I advise to get multiple quotes and negotiating price. Quoted prices on two separate jobs were double other contractors pricing received. When asked why his pricing was so much higher, response was "I'm that much better." King construction is not well equiped to supply written quotes. No hesitation to produce written quote, but process took multiple attempts to get the details requested. When notified by me that they did not receive the second job, owner's lack of client professionalism came to light. I admit I wasn't the easiest client to work with, but I was the client in this transaction.
