Dropped the car off at KIA for timing belt replacement on 6/27/13, told service advisor while they were replacing the timing belt to go ahead and replace the water pump, he said that it didn't need the water pump replaced. Kia called and said the car was ready on 7/2/13, picked up the car the same day at a cost of $1083.55. Took the car to Kia on 9/5/13 for A/C repair told the service advisor Kia oem parts, no aftermarket or remanufacture parts, they install a remanufacture a/c compressor and charged me $775.90. Picked up the car 9/6/13. Two days later my wife call the a/c has quit working and on her way home the car overheated at Gordon Hwy and Barton Chapel Rd intersection, I had the car towed home to see if it was a hose or something and called Kia and talk to the service advisor, he said check the reservoir because they develop cracks and leak out, told him the reservoir was full, check all the hoses everything was okay, added antifreeze and water coolant was coming out of the car as fast as I could put in. Called Kia , they said to bring it in. On 9/12/13 I had the car tow to Kia, the service advisor said they would check it out because the car was still under warranty for the powertrain if it was the water pump. Well guess what it was the water pump. Kia denied the warranty, the service advisor the car had no power and to diagnose the problem he would need my okay for $500.00, I said okay and Kia took the intake manifold off the car and said the bearing in the water pump had failed. I questioned why would you take off the intake manifold off when its the water pump and charged me $481.08 and not put everything back the way I gave the car to you instead of all parts in cargo area of the SUV, I told the service advisor I didn't think all the parts was there, he said I'll send the mechanic out to show you. I told the mechanic I know some of the nuts/bolts are missing and he said that all of them are in that box, I said show me the nuts to the reservoir, he stated "I'll get you some d*** nuts for it". I said "no you the right d*** nuts for this car", it took him three tries before he got some that would fit. At this point I was very upset, I had the car towed home 10/7/13. I also requested to be removed from any future phone calls or mail listings, but they still send sell material. A little over three months time that the car was serviced with Kia of Augusta I was out of a total of $2340.53 and a car that not even running.

The root of the problem was the tension adjuster and the idle pulleys wasn't replace when they did the timing belt, the idle pulley came apart and the timing belt started off tracking and rubbing into the timing cover, with the timing belt not tracking correctly put undue stress on the water pump which cause it to fail. It was about to jump time.
