HOLLIDAY GENERAL CONTRACTOR

I hired him to install a lamp and pole in my yard. He farmed out the work to another person. I paid him in advance because he said he needed the money to pay for a license to do work in another county. His helper dug the hole and poured cement to secure the base. He never completed the work. Would not take my calls, and I had to pay someone else to complete the work. I later found out that he NOT a Licensed General Contractor, and therefore is not bonded or insured.

Old roof was dropped in my bushes. I had to pay extra for the dumpster to put old shingles in. They did not start on the day they said they would, nor were they here on time the day of the roofing. The second day of the job, the roofer did not show up so they got the roofer's brother to put down shingles. They put the roof turbines and appliance exhaust vents back in the wrong places. I had them come back and put them where they belonged. They did not do a vent-a-roof they said they would do. I could never reach Mr. Holliday when he was needed. He will not answer his cell phone or return messages. Most of the time his mailbox is full and you cannot leave a message, just a call back number and he never calls back. The workers were always asking to use the toilet and made a mess. One of the roofers had his girlfriend sit in the car all day long and wait on him to give her some money at the end of the work day. This company says they do all sorts of remodeling from decks to paint to roofing and driveways. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you want nothing but grief and stress you could hire them.
