The company administrative staff are awful they do not even know how many hours their techs work or what they do on the job but charge customers for time where their technician did absolutely no work just sat around or left the job to purchase materials for a issue they didn’t ask if I wanted them to fix it. Their communication is terrible they never called to let me know a tech I was in route or that one had arrived like professional businesses do. They also did not call and bother to tell me what the issue was and if I wanted them to fix it. I guess it’s easier for them not to do those things so they can charge customers whatever they want seeing that they do not log technician dispatch or labor hours. They rely on the technician to be honest and that’s ridiculous when your charging people by the hour there should be some standards but Gold Mech has none I would not recommend them ever to any stay away from these crooks.

They've handled our heating and air for over a year now and they are excellent. Their techs are pleasant, very knowledgeable, and efficient. Charles usually comes out and he is very good.

This feature caused a very loud vibrating noise in the dining area. Craig Simms from Gold Mech diagnosed the problem and corrected the system. The A//C system runs efficiently. The loud vibrating noise has been corrected, runs quietly. Craig Simms is very knowledgeable, professional and honest. I would recommend Gold Mech to anyone searching for an A/C company that reputable and knowledgeable.

Water was pooling in front yard due to break in water line.  Call was made to Gold Mech, and they responded within an hour.  Work was performed very satisfactory, costs were reasonable, and area was cleaned up after repair.  First time we had a plumber respond as quick as they did and we certainly would use them in the future.

The plumber arrived at the time he said he would and they were  friendly and professional and addressed all my questions. A little pricey at $85/hr whether they stay an hour or 20 minutes, but the service was good.

We lost our central airconditioning one day while we were at work. Came home to the house being 86 degrees inside. We initially called our home warranty company but they were going to send out someone that was over 150 miles away. I checked the customer reviews of that company and they were so bad, I cancelled the call and called Gold Mech. We have had Gold Mech do our preventative maintenance on our heating and air conditioning for the past five years and have been very pleased with them. They sent someone out and they immediately found the problem was a bug had been in the contact area of the air conditioner's motor and when the contact came down, it killed the bug but trapped him there. Once dead, he could not move so when the contact tried to make and quot;contactand quot;, it failed and the compressor would not kick in. I put the fee at $150 but have not yet received an actual bill yet. I know it is not more than $150 based on the service ticket. The $150 is for my annual preventative maintenance on the system. I do know that under our contract, we do not pay for overtime or off regular service hours. Prior to cancelling the call with the home warranty company, I called Gold Mech several times with questions and they were very cooperative and patient. We thought we were looking at possibly having to replace our air conditioner since our system is about 14 years old. They could not have been more cooperative and professional. Definitely recommend them!

We did not discover our air had gone out until late in the evening on 9/16/13 since  we were at work and ran errands after work
before going home.  We called Gold Mech on 9/17/13 after we debated calling our home warranty.  Gold Mech answered several questions for us and then we decided to not have the home warranty service the unit but have Gold Mech do the service call.  They worked us in on 9/18/13 for service.  We have a contract with them and they do the preventative maintenance on our heating and air conditioning system twice a year. 
 They were prompt and professional and immediately found the problem.  They fixed the problem and made sure our system was full of refrigerant before leaving.  They did not try to inflate the bill or tell us we needed something we did not need.  Our unit is about 14 years old and we were worried we were looking at a frozen compressor which could have cost as much as $2000. 

The service was okay but they didn't really diagnose the problem very well. I actually ended up having someone else fix it. Their fix didn't last and the next day it went bad again. The guy didn't fix it properly and it broke again. They were fine.

They were expensive. We used them in December or January. My husband felt it was expensive. There was two of them working. It was a tricky job. They put in the floor. My overall impression was they were very good. They were thorough. They did a good job. They knew what they were doing. They discussed all aspect of the job with us. They were good at problem solving. They did the job the way it needed to be done.

I called Gold Mech and told them it was time for a new hot water heater, as the old one was almost 29 years old and leaking. A
technician came out the next morning with the new unit, removed the old one and installed the new one. Very professional and courteous man. And very efficient. He brought the new one with him on his first trip out, and the job was completed in just a couple of hours.

I would rate them highly, and I would continue to use them in the future if I needed to.

They were very good in their job. I have used them earlier too, for the quality job they do. I had a problem once, and the receptionist immediately arranged a technician to have the same fixed, at no charge. They have done some heating and air- conditioning work too. I like their services a lot and will continue to use the same in future.
