He did fine in the repair and was a seemingly nice guy, but later got into trouble with the law due to not fixing people's TV that were brought into his shop. I think he is out of business now. The first instances went great, but when I took the VCR back this week for an issue apparently arising out of the first service, they wouldn't take American Express, even though all their literature (and their front door) said they did. Since it was an expense report repair, I had to put it on AMEX and, when I couldn't, I left. Their place isn't much to look at, but they DO make house calls.
