Double-O-Sole Shoe Repair & Accessories

This man is Black in a predominantly upscale and White county. I am originally from the Northeast and do not have a prejudice bone in my body. I have made every effort to compliment this gentleman on his craftsmanship, have been cordial, as well as purchasing other products from his shop. He is standoffish, expensive and I will no longer do business with him.

Craftsmanship was excellent. I was late picking up the shoes. I don't know if they were ready on time. The work was pricey, but was well worth it.

They did a great job, and the price was reasonable.

However, I did find a GREAT place for Shoe Repair. It was the Vaughn Square Laundry, that has a sub-contract shoe repair service. It was very resonable and fast. Quality of the repair was very good. I had a zipper replaced in one of my hunting boots for $20. That repair saved my around $200 for new pair of hunting boots. Now I can get an extra season or two out of this pair. I would highly recommend this service.
It also appeared that they had drop off laundry and dry cleaning.

The quality of the work was excellent. If I didn't know where the repair is, I wouldn't be able to see it. Fast work - I took it in on Friday afternoon and was able to pick it up Saturday. And the price was only $6.

Glenn is the owner and he's a great guy! He does excellent work. My shoes always look brand new and they last longer too. His prices are so reasonable, I can afford to take several pairs at one time. Friends have commented that my shoes always look new. Double-O-Sole is my secret! Saves on purchasing new shoes because my shoes last longer! I've sent friends and family to him.
