The workers were very courteous and checked with us throughout the process. They were very thorough with their work and paid close attention to detail to help us achieve a beautiful transformation! From the very beginning, meeting with Jonathon, until the end, the job went very smoothly and just as discussed. The workers were prompt, on-time, and worked very hard to finish the job. We were extremely impressed with the amount of prep work that the was done, which let me know the job would be of the highest quality. The end product is great, as our house looks brand new. We especially liked the fact that DependaCoat was a one stop shop for our needs, i.e. dormer repair, woodwork repair, roof washing, and painting. We would definitely recommend them.

After many different stains over the years I decided to have Dependacoat paint the deck with their guaranteed warranty for paint adhesion and long wear. They sanded and primed deck and painted with special product. During warranty time any repair was quickly looked at and fixed. They have one of the most courteous owners, Jonathan Vick. He goes even beyond normal requirements for customer satisfaction. Crew is professional. They care about their product and their reputation, working hard to create long term relationships with their customers. I do not know how their pricing compares with any other products that are similar on market. Even if they exist. If you want a long term solution to deck protection and coverage call Mr. Vick for an estimate and warranty information on his product. My deck faces south and gets all the brutal sun & rain so I need an exceptional product and company to stand behind their work. Excellent Service from beginning to end.

It was mostly exterior.

All work had to be done from a ladder. In addition, several places on the soffit and fascia had sufficient weather damage that it needed to have the wood replaced, which they did prior to painting. They masked expertly so the finished product was meticulously detailed. They ensured that every window was operable after the job was done. It required 2 guys a whole week to do the complete job. Previously, I've had to have this painting done every 5 to 7 years. I'm normally a do-it-yourself-er, but I'm getting too old to be working from a ladder. So while these guys aren't cheap, it is now a project that will never again come up on my screen. I could have used vinyl or aluminum, but I wasn't ready to downgrade the look to "trailer-quality". I like the richness of the wood framing.

Dependaroof was hired to repair leaks in the existing roof at a cost of 15,000.00. There is evidence that the roof was coated but the original leaks still exist causing damage to the interior of the house.
This company has been called about the same problem approximately eight times and the problem has not been resolved.
We are terribly disappointed that we are delayed in getting this house move in ready for our homeless Veterans.

I was out of the country when the package arrived.  It was accepted by a secretary at the office.  She basically just signed and paid no attention to the condition of the package which the driver put in the back room of the office.  When I first viewed the package it was evident there was damage - several indications of rough handling and most telling, there was paint on the outside of the package which had leaked through one of the seams.  I called UPS before continuing and was informed by them to take extensive pictures of the package prior to opening and during the opening process.  I did so.  The package was specifically designed to ship gallon cans with partitions between on the interior and additional cushioning on the outer walls.  The package displayed several obvious notices including - "fragile", "liquid", "handle with care".  Two of the cans had paint exposed around the seals and paint had spilled into the package as well as having escaped to the outside.  I provided the pictures to UPS, provided a copy of same to Mr. Francis along with the above information.  I was told by UPS that they would resolve the issue with Mr. Francis.  In the meantime, Mr. Francis sent two additional gallons of paint at his own expense to replace the two that were damaged.

I was again out of the country for a couple of weeks and upon returning contacted Mr. Francis regarding resolution of his claim.  I was shocked to learn that UPS denied his claim and paid nothing.  I offered to share his cost of providing the two additional cans of paint. He very graciously refused my offer.

I would definitely recommend DependaCoat LLC for its product  I would offer greater support for Mr. Francis and his commitment to service and fair dealing, which was unfortunately the exact opposite of the position of UPS.  While it is not infrequent that merchants are fair and provide good service, it is rare in my experience to deal with someone who goes above and beyond to make certain that he/she has not only provided a quality product, but borne the brunt of losses caused by no fault of their own so that the customer is made whole.  Mr. Francis epitomizes that commitment.

My experience with Depend-a-coat, specifically Jonathan Vick was the best experiences that I have ever had with a contractor. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product and did an excellent job explaining what was entailed start to finish. They were able to start earlier than we originally expected which was great. The guys working on our house wore identifiable shirts with the company logo each day. They were very professional and polite. They cleaned up at the end of each day and the work was complete in just over a week. The work was so very detailed that I could not have asked for better work. I am very particular and anyone that knows me would testify as such, so this is truly high praise. I was not turned off by the price. I thought that it was fair for what I was getting (a lifetime warranty on their work, no more pressure washing mold off the house and creating faded or discolored areas where the pressure washer had been, all the ugly cracks in my stucco was gone and I could not detect where they had to fill it in). The color matched perfectly and I have raved to everyone just how great this experience was. I never had a hard time getting Jonathan on the phone and I have called him in the evening well past regular business hours. My husband and I are beyond pleased with the work and the customer service that we received before, during and after the work was completed. Marsha F.

Excellent, highly recommend

After we signed the contract, the work started in less than two weeks later. The priority was to fix the roof leaks first and that was accomplished quickly. When the work crew commenced they started at 8:30 in the morning and worked until dark. The whole job was finished in less than two weeks. Their carpenter has the skills of a master cabinet maker and the proof is the finished panels under both decks at the back of the house. All the crew and the foreman took real pride in their work and it is obvious, since our home has never looked this beautiful, even when brand new.
The coating has a 25 year prorated warranty. We hope to live in this home for many more years and enjoy its' beautiful ambience. In the future; Paul Francis, whom we dealt with directly, and his partner, Jonathan Vick will be our "go to" company for any maintenance we require in the future.

The experience was mostly good. It was done over a little span of time, but it was probably six weeks ago that they finished. The painting was kind of everywhere, that's why it took a while. They did an excellent job and everything looks wonderful. They cleaned up after themselves beautifully -- all of that was great. The bad part, the reason they are getting a B, is that the subs that he had coming out to paint for us didn't communicate. We never knew when they were coming because they never called. even thought we asked several times for them to please notify us what day and what time they were coming -- they never did that. That made things more complicated than they needed to be. Once we had to tell them to go home because we were leaving -- they could not stay because we were not going to be here. I complained to the owner a couple of times and I am sure he complained to them but still no phone calls.

Depend A Coat (in the person of Jonathon Vick) gave me a complete estimate with full explanation of what was included and what was not.  He kept in close touch with me, usually by text, before and during the work; and we met at the site several different times.  He was very responsive to my questions and concerns.  The crew which did the work were all very skilled and professional.  I was pleased with every aspect of the job---communication, quality of the work, professionalism of everyone involved.  I would use them again for similar type work and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service.

This was the second time they coated the deck.  The one good thing I can say is they actually stood by their warranty an tried to make it right.  On the first go around, I was promised in the contract 3 coats, received 2.  Even made the technician acknowledge that they did a short cut on the contract since I was home and witnessed the event.  After 12 months (into a 10 year warranty) the deck was a mess, peeling, The came out and replaced a few pieces of rotted wood and recoated the deck.  This time the deck is holding up a little better, but not much, still will need repainting, and repair work soon.  For the cost I could have replaced the whole deck with Tek wood and been done with it.    The owner is is great with regards to customer service No bad customer service, super nice and honest, he did everything he could to make it right.  This is just not a a good product for decks.  I can not comment on the house paint part, but I can say I used them based on a reference from a friend who used the house coating and they still love it. 

Absolutely outstanding job by DependaCoat.  Paul and his crew not only applied one of the best paint jobs in the neighborhood but in the process they repaired all my old windows that had been rotted over the years (20+ year old home).  As part of the service when DependaCoat comes to your home they assess all of the woodwork surrounding your windows, chimney, etc to ensure they are structural sound.  If any of it is not, they replace it to ensure once their paint goes on top there is nothing could compromise the quality of the paint job they apply.  My wife and I shopped around for painters and none had this work ethic.  all the rest would have just patched my home and painted over old rotten wood.  To top it all off they rebuilt and painted my deck.  I would not hesitate to use them again for any painting project.

My wife and I had previously had DependaCoat paint the inside of our house and replace the roof.  We were thrilled with the quality of the work, the reasonable cost, and amazing customer service.  We have moved and are in the process of selling our house.  I was back in town for just a few days to work with the house.  I called Mr. Paul Francis and shared that I was here for a few days and would it be possible to have the garage painted.  The next morning, the supervisor, Oscar and three others, arrived, worked into the evening, finished the work, and cleaned the work site.  Wow !  Unbelievably well done in all respects !  I would like to make a special note about Oscar.  He is really good at what he does and is one of the best at customer service in any line of work that I have encountered in my life.  He works hard, listens attentively, is kind and courteous, and will always exceed any expectation !  Needless to say, I am glad that we selected DependaCoat for both painting and roofing !

They provided punctual services and came back for warranty services.

DependaCoat was one of three bids that we obtained to paint the upstairs of our house. One of the owners, Paul Francis, of DependaCoat came and we were confident that this was the right company for us.  Mr. Francis was the utmost professional.  He listened carefully to what we wanted and also made appropriate recommendations that were very helpful.  He is a likable man, pleasant and easy to talk and work with.  His cost estimate was very reasonable.  Mr. Francis is an excellent communicator and came by frequently to make sure that we were pleased and that the work was proceeding as expected.  Oscar, the paint supervisor, was nothing short of amazing. His painting skills and knowledge along with his likable manner made us both confident and thrilled that we chose DependaCoat. There must be something very special about the culture of DependaCoat.  We could tell that the entire crew was proud and enjoyed their work.  The finished product exceeded my wife and I's expectations.  Quality work all around and clean up each day was perfect.  We were so happy with DependaCoat that we asked if they would return and paint the downstairs.  As before, we could not be more pleased with their exceptional work and customer service.    
In a separate contract, we also had our roof replaced with DependaRoof and received the same exceptional customer service and work.
In sum, both the owners and crew are very proud of their work and it most assuredly is mirrored in their finished product.

I signed the contract on October 14, 2014 but the work was not started until the first part of December. This was a bit upsetting as all the good weather in October and November was gone and now colder and wetter weather was here. Johnathan is very personable, friendly and helpful, and he did send notes and made calls to let me know I was still on the list for the work to be done. the crew did a good job of replacing the flooring of the deck and putting up the gutter, but I did have a problem with two leaks in the gutter seams and blisters forming on the deck painting. It took until June 2015 to finally get all these issues addressed, but they did do the repairs in a cheerful manner. I now have noticed a few spots where the top layer of paint is peeling off and am waiting for paint to cover those. Over all, quite a long process. The question is asked if I would use this provider again and only allow for a yes or no answer, when I would actually put a maybe. Rick did show up and brought the paint.. The deck is a great improvement over what it looked like before.
