Care More Animal Hospital

Our dog recently died of cancer of the liver but they were very helpful with care that kept her alive a lot longer than a lot of other places would have done. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have been taking 4 dogs to Caremore Animal Hospital for 2 years. They provide excellent care, prices are reasonable. They are helping us treat one of our dogs with diabetes, we have purchased prescription dog food from Caremore, the cost is comparable with on-line and local stores. On 7/31/18 we took one of our dogs in with a split nail on one of her paws, the cost of clipping the the nail and medication is shown below.

Everything was great. They're our primary Vet and they are always great. There is never a wait. I make an appointment and I'm always in there. The Vet interaction with my pet is great.

I moved to the Evans area a little over two years ago and have been to two veterinary practices prior to going to Care More. I was not overly happy with the other practices and decided to contact several practices in the area for a new doctor.   During the telephone interviews I found a wide range of pricing in fees for performing similar tests. Care More fees were very reasonable compared to my other two experiences and telephone interviews.  We saw Dr. Edward Gross Jr. at Care More.  He was very through in his examine and asked  detailed questions regarding my dog's condition.  The office visit was $48 and rabies vaccination $20.  Care More also had in stock all of the medications that my dog takes making it very convenient for obtaining refills.  Their pricing was comparably to the mail order that I have been using and also considerably less than that purchased from the previous vets.  Our technician, Violet, was very comforting to my dog because sometimes he gets very nervous in this type of environment.  Care More's facilities were clean, the administrative staff helpful and efficient.  Follow ups were made via email and in addition there is a patient portal.  I was very pleased with my experience and feel I have finally found a place which will provide good care for my fur-baby without taking me to the cleaners.

One of the best experiences I have had moving from California to Augusta is finding Dr. Gross and the staff at Care More Animal Hospital. Even my cat Fergus who is very afraid of going to the vet previous completely relaxes as soon as he comes in the door because he also has such good experiences there. Even for a surgery!
The staff are the nicest and most competent and caring I have ever experienced. Just as important they do not gouge you like I have experienced so many times at other vets. Therefore I never hesitate to get my cat checked out when needed since I found them because I know before hand everything will work out perfect in every way.
For anyone with a pet please have no hesitations about using Care More. They are top notch and affordable.

Very friendly and professional doctors and staff. Though the office was having a busy day they got us in almost immediately after I called upon finding them on Angie's List. The prices were very reasonable but nothing else was "discount" about this office in the slightest way. They are the best vet facility I have ever taken a pet to ever!

Dr. Gross was extremely caring and helpful when trying to determine what was wrong with the cat. He was genuinely concerned and extremely gentle while handling and testing the cat. He had a very full schedule and still made time to see us in the same day. Dr. Gross has always made himself available to provide care for our other pets and was willing to work with us if we were short on funds. Quality animal care has always taken priority and Dr. Gross truly cares for the well-being of the animal.

Dr. Gross and staff are outstanding. In case of illness they are always accommodating and work me in the same day. So very thankful for such a caring veterinarian. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Gross and his staff treated both dogs with the greatest affection and respect. One dog was rescued from a Puppy Mill in Missouri and the other was rescued from a Breeder in Georgia and had been neglected after breeding her at least once. They are both very nervous around people, and Dr. Gross and his staff were able to reassure these two that they were their friends and they both reacted favorably to the vet and his staff. We have lived in our present home about 5 years and have been using Caremore for our Vet services for the past 3-1/2 years. My wife and I heartily recommend these folks to everyone.

I’m very pleased with Dr Gross and his staff. I have moved around so many times and have used different Vet service along the way. Without a doubt this is the best provider that I have every used. I recommend without doubt or hesitation.

We showed up about five minutes late because of traffic, got inside, and my cat promptly urinated a river in their waiting room, right in front of the reception desk. The technician was very kind and took care of it immediately, even giving me a paper towel to dry off my purse. I was a little worried because when we walked in they had an office cat passed out snoring on one of the waiting area's benches, but all of the office cats were well-behaved and my cat was pretty okay around them. They took us back to a waiting room very promptly and two technicians saw her. They noted all of my concerns and then after a few minutes Dr. Gross came in. My cat had had a blood test at a previous, horrible vet a few weeks back and they had never explained the results to me except to say, and quot;Some things are elevated but it's all normal.and quot; Dr. Gross carefully went over everything on the blood test record with us, then examined the cat, addressed all the concerns we had, made some recommendations, and pronounced my cat healthy before administering a vaccine. He noted that she is a vaccine reactor without either of us having to mention it to him, and treated her accordingly. All of the technicians were very kind and gentle with her, spoke softly so she didn't get scared, and, when an office cat followed one of the techs into the exam room with us, they quickly and quietly got him out of there. I was very impressed with the level of care and even more impressed that the veterinarian listened to our concerns and thoughtfully presented solutions for her behavioral issues instead of just chalking it up to a and quot;cats will be catsand quot; kind of thing. This is an excellent veterinary practice and I'm very glad to have found them.

My Lab has had problem with itching and hot spots for more than 2mos. I called on Monday, got an early appointment in one day.. All went very well

Had a wonderful experience.

We found Charlie as a kitten that had been dumped. He was extremely sick and as a result had health issues his whole life. When he was about 7 he got a sinus infection that just would not go away. Dr. Gross saw us repeatedly for weeks on end until one of the many tests ran came back to show that Charlie had cancer in his sinus passages. Dr. Gross provided care, support, and guidance until the end. I wouldn't ever think of taking my other pets anywhere else.

He is great. He gave me some cream to put on his skin.

We are very happy with the groomer and the animal hospital. The price and quality is very good. We will keep going back.

Overall, everything went very well. I really like the clean facilities, and I also like the short wait time. I did have one incident where I felt there was an issue that needed to be addressed that wasn't, so it's not perfect. I've been there about 4 times and all in all, I was only disappointed once.

We have the best vet on the planet. He takes care of both of my dogs and is probably the most compassionate vet that I have ever met. He is so kind and takes good care of the animals. People are always dropping some stray off and he takes care of them and tries to find them a home. He has a really nice practice and I will continue to use this vet.

Care More Animal Hospital gives us a discount because we have rescue dogs. They are very nice and very accommodating for rescue. The veterinarian did a very good job on the surgeries and I was very pleased overall. However we also had another rescue that we kept on bringing in over the summer and the veterinarian did not realize that the dog had cancer.
