Tom Marshall is an excellent technician. He was on time, acted like an old friend, yet very professional.
 I told him what the problem was, he turned on the dishwasher, and immediately knew that the problem was caused by a part that was under recall.    He contacted the company, and got approval to replace the part.
Yeahhhhhh!  There was no charge to me for  that repair!  The part cost $200.00+
My washer was running a full cycle with the lid up.  It is not supposed (My washer is at least 20 years old) to spin with the lid up.
After replacing the lid switch assembly, he ran the washer to test it.  He notice that I needed dogs.  (Dogs?  What makes him think I need a dog?!!)    Agitator -dogs.   My old washer now cleans like new.
The $60.00 service charge is a little high, but in this instance, it was a bargain.

We have used Appliance Pros of Augusta several times in the past few years for various appliance repairs and have always been very pleased with the timeliness and quality of service. The company is very professional, friendly and will work with the customer to schedule an appointment time and resolve an appliance problem.
 
Our front loading washing machine needed a replacement circular rubber gasket, which is called a boot. Within 24 hours of calling Appliance Pros of Augusta and describing the problem Tom arrived at the house, confirmed the nature of the problem and proceeded immediately to fix it. Based on the information provided the day before he brought the replacement boot with him. He always calls prior to arrival to confirm the appointment time and approximate time of arrival.
The entire repair process took no longer then 15-20 minutes to pull out the old part and mount the new part. The reason it only took 15-20 minutes is that Tom knows appliance repair. There are a few tricks to uninstalling and reinstalling this part. An experienced DIYer might not be aware of these and could easily make a costly mistake if they are not careful. Some appliance repair is easily addressed by the homeowner, while other repair work is best left to the Pros. This was one repair that we are very pleased we contacted Appliance Pros of Augusta to address.
The company stands by their work or replacement parts. We've had Tom come back out for a follow-up visit to check on a part and he arrived the next day with a new replacement part ready to install if needed.

When I called their office to schedule a service, the office personel was very kind and professional.  She asked me several questions and explained to me how they will take care of my problem.  The technician, Tom, was very prompt and was very quick to find the problems and gave me the options to fix them.  We had two issues.  One was the refrigerator acting up and ice maker was not working properly.  Repairing the refriigelator was not an option, but ice maker would have cost me over $600 since ice maker kit and main control card have to be replaced together.  He advised me to skip the ice maker repair and fix the refrigerator issue.  I agreed with him and he took care of the refrigeration problem with a very reasonable charge.  I recommend them for any appliance repair needs.  They are truely pro!!!
