Animal Boarding Kennels
Not well. Too many dogs (90 according to the owner) and staff not able to give dogs adequate attention.

Animal Boarding Kennels
Recently moved to Augusta, we were looking for a boarding facility for our 2 dogs. Our Bernese Mtn Dog had been diagnosed with bladder cancer and we informed them of that as well as our vet contact number. Our other dog, Dobie/shep mix was healthy. I received a call on Saturday morning at 8 am that our Doberman/Shepherd dog was vomiting. I told them to take her to the vet. They called an hour later and told me that our dog had died. We were devastated. When we went to pick up the Bernese, the receptionist could not tell me what had happened or which vet they had taken my dog. She had to ask another worker. I never received a call or letter from anyone at the kennel. When I asked the vet what they thought happened, they told me our dog was dead when they brought her in. (They had to carry her in to the exam room). They thought that she had "bloat" which is an emergency. This could have happened with us being home but the lack of empathy and lack of communication by the boarding facility is inexcusable. I will not go back to this facility.

It went great - I was impressed with the staff Animal House. They all took an itnerest in my little dog and gave me reports on his behavior when I picked him up later in the day. I like the way they separate the dogs by sizes for their play activities.

My dog can barely contain her excitement when she knows we're going there. She bounds out of the car and dashes in without any hesitation. The staff recognize her and know her name immediately which is reassuring. Sometimes they post pictures of the day and post to Facebook, which is nice to see. I'd love to be able to watch the dogs play more. My dog comes home happy, calm and tired.

It is a great organization and has very friendly customer service. We have an outstanding work relationship; if I have an issue and can't make it there on time they are very easy to work with and very understanding; they are a great company.

Animal Boarding Kennels
The Animal House came highly recommended by my dog's obedience trainer so I knew they would provide excellent care for my dog. They have daily day care, overnight boarding and grooming. I have used all these services, but regularly use their services for multiple day boarding and always pick him up clean and Furminated! They offer many services, but make it economical by allowing clients to bag and bring our own dog food or pay a small daily fee for house food.
The dogs are segregated by size, and every dog has to complete a temperament test before being allowed to stay. They are out of their "bedroom" for socializing except at night and the staff play with them! My dog is always happy, clean and tired, and that's great to come home to!
Most of all, the staff is always friendly and greets the animals like their best friends. Their hours are great too. The first time, the location was a little hard to find, but once you find it, it's really easy and convenient. Thanks TAH! You do a terrific job!

I just love them and my Great Dane loves them too. They charge $9-$10 an hour. They're good with all the animals. They have a great system; when your dog goes there, they take her outside to do her business and then they put her in a group with other dogs with the same temperament or size so she can play. The dogs are so happy. Whatever they're doing there, it's something good. It's like taking a child to childcare -- if the child is crying constantly when you drop him off, you know something isn't right. My dog can't wait to get out of the car. When I pick her up, she can't wait to get into my car because she's so tired. They really work her out. When she gets home she's like a totally different dog; she is very exhausted and wants to rest. I like that part.
