They were very pleasant, punctual, and very informative. They also did not mind me watching them while they did the work. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

This install has turned into a living nightmare and has still not been resolved and we are going into the second month! The new unit went out on the 2nd day after it was installed, which was on Sunday. I was treated rudely by the tech on call for the weekend becuase he was not "the tech that installed it" and he would let Joe ( the installer) know we have an issue and it will probably be Monday when he contacts me. Temps in GA were about 98 degrees that weekend. I let him know that my agreement was with the company, not the tech. He was the tech on call he needed to come and fix this . We were not spending the weekend hot plus both my husband and I work and cannot just take off because they didn't do their job correctly. We are now going into the second month of the air not working properly. They keep coming and recharging they system but it never holds for long. I asked for my money to be refunded two weeks after the install (before I knew the laminate floor was slowly being damaged underneath the Oriental Runner) and was told by the owner, Charlie Connell that I was being unreasonable. Now my laminate floor is ruined due to the inside part of the unit has apparently been leaking the entire time. When it started running out into the living area my hall runner (thick oriental) was absorbing the water from the bottom so the top of the runner never was wet until the water eventually made it's way to the top of the runner and we were able to feel it on our feet. We called the owner again and told him our laminate floor was ruined and he needed to pay to have it replaced. The installer came back and supposedly fixed the leak and the water back up issue. The owner came by unannounced a few days later to take pictures of the floor and we never heard from him again. It has been a few weeks since then and we started noticing the unit running 24/7 again and not cooling the house down as it should. My husband called the owner back and told him the unit was starting to not cool as it should again and wanted to know what the status of our laminate floor being replaced was. He said he would call back once he checked with the flooring person he had contacted (but the flooring person has never come to our house to view the damaged floor.) We have yet to hear back from him and now our oriental runner is wet again and water is bubbling up from the lamiate floor when you walk on it. This time the water has gone into the master bedroom closet that is on the backside of the inside a/c closet which also had water 2 inches deep. My husband has used the wet/dry vac to get the water up and we have to keep changing out / wringing out towels we have put on the floor to try to absorb the water the best we can. I am calling my credit card company today to dispute the charge of the install under the circumstances. If that is credited back I have a reputable company that has agreed to unistall Connells equipment without harm and sit it in our yard for them to come pick up. Bottom line: Do not use this company. They talk a good talk when they are making the sale but after that what you will go through is pure agony and frustration. We want our money refunded fully and our laminate floor replaced that was damaged due to their incompetency!

The second service covered by this contract was made and the tech discovered a problem that would only escalate and I would lose the ability to heat my home. The Connell's tech advised buying a new unit and would obtain a quote for me including labor to install it. I did some research and spoke to two other vendors about providing a new unit and quoting me for the unit and labor to install. I elected to buy a new unit from another vendor based on price. I would still use Connell's for other repair and maintenance work since I find them to be a reliable, quality vendor.

It was all right. He had to come back out one time to fix the line but he came back out with no problem. It didn't take him long to come back out and fix it. He helped me get the credit I needed to pay it.

Very fast work and I could tell that this was not the 1st time that Joe had done these services. He was very confident and cleaned up any mess that was made. I will use them again.

It went great, they came on an after hours call, and came back when the problem happened again to do a permanent fix. The tech hoped by cleaning the component it would fix it, however he warned me that it might not and asked that I call him to return if it stopped working. It did stop and he was there within two hours to replace the part.

The last experience was not the best experience that we had. Two different people came and both had different ideas. The first one misguided and the second was right and then we ordered the part. Then when the part came it broke and at last we bought a new refrigerator. I might use them again in the future.

I thought they were good at coming out right away. We have dealt with three different people there; two out of three were great. One of them didn't diagnose a problem right, because they weren't looking at the problem right.

Gene was very knowledgable about how to fix almost all of the appliances and HVAC units we had which was considerable since we needed to fix a lot of different kinds of equipment in three B&B inns (over 30,000 sqft of space, each with its own set of major appliances in the kitchen and laundry room, etc.)! We kept him busy for several days for that first quote. I saved Gene's cell phone number after our initial experience with him so he became the person we called for several years whenever we needed appliance repairs or HVAC service. My only hesitation in recommending him is that he can be difficult to get ahold of and schedule, but he does a great job. The only other hesitation is that he didn't specify the efficiency of the new heating unit in his quote and we ended up with a much less efficient heater than I had asked for originally and unfortunately I wasn't there on the day he installed it to verify. He's also in more of a rush to get the job done these days so make sure he gets all of the details done the way you need them and be sure to get all of the new equipment specifications written into the quote!

When I first called the company, I requested that the person come on or after 6:00 pm, as this was the time I got home from work. The receptionist said this was OK but that the service person would call me before he came, and would not come if there was no answer. No one showed up that day, and I saw on my caller ID that the service person had called at 3:00 pm; hours earlier than I had told them I would be home. I called again the next day and finally got the service man out to the house. After this everything went great. He diagnosed the problem on Friday, and came back on Monday with the part to fix it. Except for the little glitch with the first call, I was very satisfied with everything. The service man was friendly, professional and worked quickly. The price was exactly what he told us it would be before he started.

This was the second time in less than 7 week I required the same type of service for my refrigerator by the same company. This time the service was done on Friday and the refeigerator stopped working on (the next day) Saturday. The answering service was rude and one of the women yelled at me when I told her that I and fresh meats and dairy products that were going bad--she said she was not interested in what was in my refregirator. I was refused service to my refrigerator on Saturday and was told to wait until Monday. The on call tech (Gene) hung up while I was talking. The tech informed me that the company was not responsible for food spoilage; I later found out that the service tech that came to my home was a sub-contractor to the company. I had to buy ice and place my food in the cooler and at a neighbor's house.

Received 3 quotes and theirs was lowest for the same furnace and Brand. Installed at the peak of AC service season. They were the first to respond to the service call and provided a quote at that time. We asked for quotes from two other companies. One of the other companies was the highest. We have used Connells to replace our main AC and Furnace Pack 5 years ago which they serviced on New Years Eve. Again service, price and response were excellent. Based on that history along with other service calls over the years, we again used A Connells. Their quote was substantially lower - approximately by $800. Service was done on time, 4 hours or less and the installation, removal were all done expediently, professionally and to our satisfaction.

Jimmy's prompt service saved me from buying a new $2,000 refrigerator, although I still had to cook dinner rather than taking the family out to eat.
