A nightmare. We were dropped from the Right Choice program, because of the numerous errors in the system. We spent a year chasing after America's Best Heating and Air to try and get them to fix the system. We finally filed a complaint with the state licensing board. In addition, we had to sue Mr. Vickers. We won our lawsuit to the tune of $8,364.00. Mr Vickers said that he was not going to pay. We are now in the process of trying to collect the judgment. We garnished his bank account and only got $881.02. Since he claims to be insured and bonded, I don't understand why he will not file with his insurance.
Description of Work: We built a new house and America's Best was to install the HVAC. We paid for a 13 seer heat pump unit. We were building to the right choice standards and Mr. Vickers was to follow the design specs set forth by Jackson EMC and Southface Homes. He said that he was insured and bonded.
