We hired Yanover Construction to finish our basement; they did not disappoint! It was a very smooth process from beginning to end! They were responsive to every request and concern. The craftsmanship was top notch! Our project manager, Marcelo Sanchez, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, always on top of things and very patient with us during the process! Jay Blanco was our initial contact and quoted the job for us. He made multiple trips to our home and was able to find solutions to make what we wanted work with our budget! Thank you, Yanover Construction! We love our basement!!

The two man crew that came to our house was professional and efficient. The team was very collaborative from start to finish to create the type of deck we needed as well as the aesthetic that we wanted. We are very pleased with the end result and would definitely hire again.

They did a really nice job on the windows and doors. They had to remove 2 cabinets adjacent the fireplace cut 2 holes and then cut a hole for a door. They were efficient communicative and made sure any little details were covered during inspections. Overall I would for sure use them again.

I hired Yanover to build a deck and porch, but I would not recommend their services to anyone. Throughout the process, it became evident that customer satisfaction and effective project management were not priorities for them. Here’s a timeline of the most critical issues I experienced: Excessive Project Timeline and Disruption: This project spanned nearly five months, from early April to late September, turning my yard into a construction site for the entire summer. Yanover's repeated delays and lack of coordination meant that I couldn't use my yard or deck for most of the season, resulting in significant inconvenience. Initial Delays and Communication Issues: After making my first payment in April, I received plans that had errors, were incomplete, delivered late and required revisions, causing delays. Over the following weeks, their communication was inconsistent and vague, often providing excuses rather than clear updates. On multiple occasions, work was postponed with little to no notice due to "rain," even when weather forecasts showed otherwise. Unreliable Scheduling and Inspections: Yanover’s scheduling issues became a pattern, with crew members no-showing or being sent without necessary materials. Inspections were scheduled, canceled, and rescheduled with no communication until I reached out myself. Yes, I reached out directly to the county because I could not trust my contractor that I had paid tens of thousands of dollars. Changes to Agreed-upon Plans and Poor Execution: A couple months into the project, they altered the roofline, which added more delays and required additional work to ensure proper drainage. Even after these changes, final inspections were repeatedly failed due to oversight, and issues were corrected only after extensive back-and-forth. Lack of Accountability for Drainage and Paint Quality: When water drainage issues arose after the project, Yanover was unwilling to correct the issues caused by their work and then offered to install french drains for 5x the amount quoted to me by other companies. Later, their painting crew provided poor-quality coats of stain, leaving brush strokes visible. After two coats of the semi-transparent stain I chose, I had to settle for a solid stain to cover the poor work, adding even more time to my already delayed project. Throughout this process, Yanover demonstrated poor communication, unreliable scheduling, and a clear disregard for client satisfaction. I expected professional oversight and clear communication from a construction company, but instead, I faced ongoing frustration and an end product that didn’t meet initial expectations. I would not recommend Yanover to anyone seeking a reliable, customer-focused contractor.

Overall, rating is 4.4. The quality if the workmenship is great. However, the timing from start to finished was delayed due to passing the required inspections. Otherwise, I would rate the service higher. I'm very pleased with the final product.

We are loving our new deck constructed with Trex by Yanover! They were incredibly easy to work with and they got the work done on my deck and my neighbor’s deck. Very happy with the quality of work and I would highly recommend them!

They did a nice job on our fence. We had a few problems in the beginning but they took care all the issues that I had! Great Customer Service!

Yanover Construction did a great job painting my home. The were thorough and very transparent. They get a A++ for communication, punctuality (started on time, finished on time - every day of the project) and honesty. Their quote was accurate and the craftsmanship of the work exceeded my expectations.

We were seeking a partner for a full exterior renovation of our 3-story home - a full rebuild of a second story deck & staircase, decking & railing replacement, siding & gutter replacement, and a full fresh coat of paint. It was a big job, but Jay and his team were definitely up for the challenge! We are very please with the results. Jay walked us through a structured plan up front and made city permitting process easy. Pricing was fair and everyone on the team is super responsive. We were especially impressed with the team's craftsmanship. A great, trustworthy team.

Jay and his team at Yanover Construction are the best in the business! We have hired them for multiple projects from a custom deck re-build on the front of my house, retaining wall restoration, paint and more. His team is always on time, professional and works very efficiently. Their customer service is superb and responsiveness is amazing. As you can imagine, having the front of your house ripped apart is not easy, but we knew we could trust Jay and his team. We would highly recommend Jay and his team at Yanover!

This was a very professional group. They were timely, responsive, and kind. The crews they sent to perform the work were very skilled and passionate about their work. My wife described the men repairing damaged wood as craftsmen. They wanted their work to look pristine. They were quick and we didn't have to chase them down to finish anything. For the scope of the work we had done, I met at least 3 project managers, so they are well equipped with manpower to take on larger projects. I'd recommend them to my best of friends.

On hiring a contractor, I had several come to the house to give me quotes on the job that I needed to be done. When Fidel came from Yanover construction, he spent quite a bit of time inspecting the house and found areas that I was not aware of that needed replacement. He documented all work with pictures for the areas that needed work. Fidel gave us an itemized list of what the cost was going to be for each item. Yanover had the gutters replaced, washed and painted the exterior with Sherwin Williams Super Paint, they also replaced all areas where wood needed to be replaced. The House looks great and have had comments from several neighbors. I would not hesitate to use them again, very professional!

Extremely well. Great team, fair pricing, attention to details. Probably the most professional company of its kind I have ever dealt with. Have more work scheduled.

It went very well. The contractors showed up on time and worked hard to complete the remodel within the time frame I was quoted. The few issues that arose were promptly dealt with. The quality of the final product was high and we are happy with the result. We would definitely hire again.

They are not the cheapest, but what you get is a contractor that shows up when they say they will and does a professional job. That is worth a few extra pennies.. at least it was to me!

Fantastic company to work with. Jay oversaw the entire project and was always very responsive. My project took several twists and turns (outside of Jay’s control) and he was very adaptable as the scope of the project/remodel developed. The drywall work and paint was impeccable and very well done. Jay’s quotes are very straightforward and include just the right amount of detail needed for a client to make an informed decision. I highly recommend this company and look forward to completing future projects with Jay and team.
