After a very short Google search, I found VocaMacRepair. Carsten, the owner of VocaMacRepair, could completely understand my frustration with Apple, told me he would take care of my baby and lo and behold he had it back to me in just a few days a fraction of what the "Genius" had estimated.
He charged me a base price for liquid damage repair @ $169 plus parts, ended up having to replace the keyboard and mouse pad.
I am very satisfied with the work performed and will recommend VocaMacRepair to everyone.
