TRIPLE T HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

We are under a service contract with them and it's $180 a year, I wanna say. The only thing I would qualm is their communication isnt the greatest. The responsiveness is good, its like we are on a contact but sometimes you have to call them to make sure you are on the schedule to get servicing done. It might be me, I might want my service done during a time they arent serving.

The tech from Tom Bunch, Inc. (TBI) replaced an air handler but forgot to place an access panel for an air filter in the old air exchange box. He also neglected to properly seal off air leaks in the new air handler. After the AC stopped working, another company discovered the tech also had failed to install the correct thermostatic expansion valve in the air handler. This error most likely, we were told, contributed to the failure of the compressor. After another tech from TBI installed the correct valve, we asked for the original valve back since we were going to need it when we upgraded the system to the newer refrigerant. Tom Bunch told us the original valve had been discarded since it no longer worked ? due to their negligence. We ended up having to purchase another valve out of our own pocket when Tom Bunch refused to replace it.
