I had a sectional couch and ottoman removed from my home and disposed of. The gentleman who came to perform the job was short a helper but managed to complete the job independently and in about 15-20 minutes.

For the most part it went well.  The helper seemed to always be arguing with the owner.  It made us a little uneasy.

We set up the time and price about a week in advance, changed the time at last moment due to closing, very receptive.  The original truck was hit by a car, so they had to send some other guys who were in LaGrange moving some other clients.  Arrived at 8, took two hours, men were friendly and professional.  Would use again.

There was much to be done but my greatest concern was selecting a moving company. Friends suggested local and nationally known moving companies. But after speaking with the owner of Total Moving Services in Atlanta serveral times and checking out their website ...references ..and even the BBB I chose Total Moving Services. I was impressed by their reputation, but what really sold me was the owner's genuine interest in helping me stay within my budget. Several things happened right before moving day and on moving day itself that underscored the fact they are a very unique and helpful company. Initially the move was to be done by four men and one large truck, but a day or two before the move I called the company and told Gerald, the owner, that I thought I might need another truck. To save money he advised me the best thing to do would be to bring one truck, and if I did need another truck it would be cheaper to rent a local truck and pay one of his men to drive it to Dallas. The second truck was needed. On moving day I was a bit nervous, but it didn't take long before I realized that these young men were extremely professional and competent. THey arrived in Macon promptly at 9:30 and they worked non stop until they pulled out at 6:30 heading for a storage facility in Dallas, GA. At 12:30 a.m they unloaded the last piece of furniture. Except for a brief break they worked straight through for 15 hours. Throughout the marathon day they were kind and courteous and handled all my furniture and belongings with extreme care. The entire move, including renting the extra truck and paying the driver was under $2000. If you want the ultimate professionalism and skill then I highly recommend Total Moving Services of Atlanta.
