No problems in implementation - looked beautiful, was on time and within budget.  Very happy with them.  With regard to maintenance services, they were responsive to my requests.  I would spend the same or more to use them again.

High priced and unresponsive.  Doesn't care much about the customer.  Service is terrible - when they decide to come.  If you've been saving up for something special, use someone else.

Small modest home gets facelift
This is the second  time We have used the Terranova Landscape Design Company and worked with Bob Lytle.  Once again, we are  thrilled with the results. This time we had a flagstone patio put in with river rocks in between the joints. It?s stunning and puts the finishing touch on the previous work that was done. Every time I drive up to my house or just go out my front door, I can?t help but smile because it is so beautiful.  Bob and his staff are artists and I really appreciate them.  They are the nicest people to work
with,  extremely professional and attentive to every detail.  My husband and I would highly recommend them.  If you are a small home owner, and have visited their website, try not to be intimidated by the formidable work displayed on their  site.  They work with us little guys too and do a stellar job!

Terranova Landscape Design was represented by Scott Dye.  He was professional, responsive and pleasant to work with.  He provided quality customer service.  I was very satisfied with the quality and layout of the plants.  He was willing to work with me and my small budget to get me started.  His verbal quotes were followed up in writing.

After meeting with the designer (who came out two times to help me understand what his goal was for the yard), with whom I truly felt an excellent connection/rapport we decided to use Terranova Landscape. They walked through our entire yard, not just the front yard - where the work was to be done.  I felt, after just a few minutes that this was the company to use; we had other landscapers come out, but this just felt right.  We commissioned Terranova to do the work and now that it's done, I have to say I could not be more pleased.  The men were always working at their task, or helping someone else.  There was never any slacking, and at the end of the days' work, all areas were cleaned, tools put away.  We had some landscaping boulders placed and the most amazing bench made out of a huge piece of TN field stone.  As mentioned we also had a lot of pruning done on the first day.  Then about 1000 sq ft of sod put down - and it was put down onto a well prepared area.  The came the plantings of perennials.  All well placed and not at all over-crowded.  Clean-up was the best I have ever seen.  They even came with a pressure washer!  All well done, from initial conversations to final walk-through.  Bravo!

They were very good.  They were very prompt in responding and it came at the right price.  The quality of their work was very good.

Rob and his guys are great. We have never had any problems. The business and home always look great and we get tons of compliments.

We had an initial meeting with Terranova's representatives (Rob and Amy) that included a walk-through on the property.  Terranova's representatives listed and asked intellignet questions, trying on ideas once they had heard our goals and understood them.
By agreement, we sent them a survey of the property for a separately costed plan for the job.  Once the plan was complete, the Terranova representatives again visited us and walked us through the plan.  Because the plan had already been paid for, they then waited for word from us whether to proceed.
Installation started on schedule, after collecting half the total cost of the job.  It was performed over the course of a week, with great professionalism and care.  A few extra bushes were planted without being included in the cost - extras that they thought might add to the impact of the design.
Clean-up and final walk-through were also done very well.  We like this team.

Bob was great to work with.  He understood what was needed and worked with me until I was satisfied with the options and associated costs.  He took into consideration how the drainage system would effect  the total front landscaping --not just how to fix the problem.  I appreciated that. He figured out a water sprinkler system we could use to support the work since I didn't have an irrigation system. I was nervous about moving the trees but it was a good suggestions and I like the difference it makes. They stayed on budget and replaced some of the first delivery of pine straw that looked less than acceptable to me. I look forward to the Spring and seeing how everything comes back into season and blends.  Thanks Bob for a great job and staying in communication with me.

Small Project, Modest Sub-division, Big Results 
We live in a modest subdivision with a small front yard that was a real eyesore.  The houses are very close together so if your immediate neighbor is not into weeding their lawn those weeds soon  become yours. This in combination with the fact that we have three trees with large protruding root system made it almost impossible to have a decent lawn.   
I tried several top rated landscape companies from Angie?s list and was not impressed by any of the solutions they suggested until I contacted Terranova Landscape. At first I was afraid to call because the work displayed on their website was very intimidating and I wasn?t sure if they worked on small projects.  I can?t tell you how happy I am that I made that call! 
The Landscape artist they sent out, Bob Lytle was great.  Not pushy at all but very confident that he could create something beautiful for me within my budget.  Bob came out three times to discuss possible designs for my front yard.  That in itself was amazing.   He was so patient with me and listened to my concerns.  The final design for my front yard sounded great and I became excited for the first time and decided to go with them. 
The day the project began Bob was more excited than I was. He and his staff worked together like a fine tuned machine.  It was a pleasure to work with them. They did an incredible job.  My front yard now is stunning for lack of a better word.  It reminds me of an Oriental garden, both simple and elegant at the same time with very little maintenance required.  I would recommend this company to anyone.  In my twenty years of home ownership I have never worked with a company so responsive, skilled and excited about exceeding my expectations for the task at hand than they were.  I give them an A++++++

LIke I mentioned above, the pricing varies depending on my needs and they have always been fair and reasonable. I recently had seasonal flowering plants removed and new replanted. I have a huge yard so there is a lot of work to be done each week, even if it's just blowing leaves and debris.  I have never been disappointed with Terranova Landscaping.

I had seen some stone walls that they had done in the front yard of one of my neighbors and couldn't get over how beautiful and unique the work was.  My husband tracked them down and asked if they could come to our home and look at our yard and give us some ideas.  They arrived right on time and were incredibly pleasant and easy going...not pushy in the least bit.  We discussed some ideas with them and they arranged to come back with a drawn out plan.  They returned as promised with the most amazing design plan for our yard.  We did "tweek" a couple of things and they were completely on board with the changes.  The work on our yard was extensive and lasted for almost 3 months.  Their desire to create the "perfect" yard for us was apparent.   If they were not happy with how a section of the wall came out, they redid it without hesitation.  I never felt as if they were doing it for the money, I always felt that the satisfying us and creating a beautiful finished product was their main concern.  

They always showed up on time and never once didn't come when they said they would.  They always responded promptly and courteously to any questions or concerns we had.  Never once throughout the 3 month project did I regret hiring them...as a matter of fact....I felt as if I had made new friends.  

Since we had such a wonderful experience working with them on the original yard, we then hired them to do our monthly maintenance.  We now have a 12 year relationship with them and there has never been a time over these years where they have disappointed us.  Our yard is the envy of our neighbors!  Their creativity, originality, and overall good character make them a great group of people to work with.

They are very reasonable and do a great job keeping the beds attractive.  Will also plant annuals or do fertilizing if desired.

they provided a beautiful plan and modified it to fit our preferences.  Were open to our ideas but offered advice and alternatives when they thought that our choices has disadvantages.  The crew was friendly and tolerated our two dogs who hung out with them during the work.  They cleaned the area after the demolition and left nothing undone.  In the middle of the re-design, re-evaluated the esthetics and recommended changes to maximize the impact of the new installation.  We were extremely satisfied.
