The team that came out to provide the tree services were so professional and respective of our property. I highly recommend, and would certainly use them in the future.

We had several large limbs removed that were hanging over the house. Jimmy Carter and his crew were on time, very professional and did a great job. We were impressed with the quick removal {24 hrs} of the limbs and trash. The price was reasonable and we would definitely recommend them.

We had two poplar trees removed from our front yard. The removal was in a timely manner and the employees were very professional. They did what they said they would do and we appreciated that. There was a problem With our sprinkler system after the tree removal. We brought it to their attention and they repaired the Sprinkler system. Their price was very competitive and they did a great job.

On time, professional and personable. We had several of our mature trees trimmed and dead limbs taken off. As the crew worked they were mindful of my flowers and shrubs in our yard and clean up was spot on. Iâ ve added Southern Tree service to my contacts so when and if needed in the future.

We had gotten one estimate which was crazy expensive. We decided to seek a second opinion, and we called another company, who said they would call us back. But of course, they didn't. Southern Star Tree Service, on the other hand, answered the phone in person. Chris said he'd be at my house in an hour and a half. That was yesterday. Today at 8:30 a.m., his crew was at my house and had the trees in question down by 10:00. Excellent, professional, caring, and efficient service. Definitely five stars.

Chris & team did a great job discussing the project in detail as we went over what was the best course of action of tree removal and roots, and foundation issues!! The team knocked it out with speedy service and clean up!! I will be using them again and recommend anyone else to call to get the job done correctly!! Thanks guys!

These guys did a fantastic job!! it was fun and scary watching them take down two 75' trees. They cleaned up very nicely.

Really liked the people, and their speed getting to us to quote the job and do the work. They made us a priority, worked fast, and cleaned up well. They also had a plan to keep our tree healthy: another service had recommended more drastic cuts that Southern Star pointed out would have killed the tree. Two small items to note: (1) The proposal was a little slow getting to us due to a technical glitch or internal miscommunication on their end - we had to follow up; and (2) Their proposal indicated it was ok to pay by card but the team said they couldn't accept debit cards, so we had to write a check.

These guys showed on time and ready to work! They had adequate staffing and everyone seemed to have a role and knew exactly what they were supposed to do. A large job completed in less than an hour. Cleanup was sufficient and they did not destroy any of my surrounding plants or flowers. Overall great experience, from initial meet, estimate process and job completion. I would definitely recommend the services of this company.

I have had trees trimmed in my yard before, but these guys were the best. They performed like a well-choreographed dance team: not a wasted movement, not a wasted moment. They swooped in, had the limbs cut, chipped in a short amount of time, and their clean-up left the yard in a better condition than when they arrived. The team was professional and friendly, and actually appeared to enjoy their work. All of this at a reasonable price.

The price was fair.

We negotiated a fair price for the work done and they even agreed to remove some bulk yard waste that we had put at the street for free! They were quick, on time, and cleaned up after the job was done. Hope we don't have to have any more trees taken out, but if we do, we will definitely call them again.

Chris and his team did a great job cutting down and removing five trees from my property. They performed the project quickly and they had the best pricing of the five companies that priced the project. The only (minor) complaint that I have was trying to schedule the work, although it was at least partially due to recent weather. I would definitely recommend them for tree removal and trimming.

I am always skeptical of hiring a contractor that I don’t know. These guys exceeded all of my expectations and I will certainly use them the next time I need tree work done.
