Our mission at Smart Space is to educate and empower home and small commercial building owners to think smarter about their space, improving efficiency, comfort, and indoor air quality while driving down costs long term. Our whole house approach starts with a BPI certified comprehensive evaluation of a space using software modeling and diagnostic equipment (blower door, safety testing etc) and the understanding that a space performs optimally as an integrated whole. If your ducts are leaky it does not matter if you have the most efficient air conditioner on the market. We are a full service company and offer all the products and services that are considered “best practices” in the field of building science and sustainable retrofitting/building. The recommendations we make are prioritized with the concept of a “payback” in mind to help prioritize upgrades to achieve the best return on your investment. Therefore, sealing up air leaks and duct-sealing are low cost measures and usually come in first place for payback. We offer 100% financing and educate our customers about rebate and tax credits options. We also offer a radon test with each BPI certified energy audit.
