Sewell Appliance has been the worst experience I have ever had working with a company. They do not communicate with their customers. I understand the difficulties imposed by the pandemic, but they take your money and do not deliver the product you paid for nor do they communicate about the delays nor expectations as to when you might receive the product. I will warn you to avoid this company.

Promised in 2 weeks and no response after 8 weeks. Every time we called the Salesperson , he was with other customers or in the bathroom and he refused to call me back on numerous occasions. Once they swipe your credit card, you no longer exist. Worst service imaginable. Bought the Miele elsewhere and service was phenomenal. You have to be crazy to buy an appliance from Sewell.

Would be a zero if it was possible. To anyone that is planning to buy from here my recommendation is that you look elsewhere. We ordered a refrigerator and freezer units back in May for delivery in July 2020. Upon delivery the refrigerator panel was damaged on arrival and they had to order a new one. They called to deliver on July 27th and then no one showed up. It turned out they seemed not to have the panel yet. After 2 months of waiting for the panel to arrive to their warehouse, they scheduled over 6 delivery dates and missed each one of them without even a call. We decided to get a refund for the panel and installation of the panel and go to another company. The other company delivered on time but was unable to instal the panel because they say the freezer and refrigerator are not properly installed. After contacting them to correct the installation, I am now again waiting for a date to have someone come in. Lack of communication, lack of reliability and lack of accountability are just a few of the things to point out. I got all my kitchen appliances from them and now have nightmares of ever having to rely on them if something goes wrong.

Joe Accavallo, the technician called ahead of time and arrived very promptly. He was amazing. Joe listened attentively to my concerns, tested the oven, and he explained what he was doing and why! After diagnosing the problem, Joe gave my all the options available and willingly explained what each would cost. He did not try to push me into any unnecessary repairs or upgrades. He had the necessary replacement part on his truck so there was no delay in repair. Joe provided very valuable information regarding the use and function of different settings on the oven and even gave me extremely useful tips on maintaining the ovens. He was extremely knowledgeable.The kitchen was spotless after he completed his work. He worked quickly and only charged for the service call and the actual time that he was working . I would not hesitate to contact Sewell Appliances and ask for Joe to perform other repairs, We initially purchased our kitchen appliances from Sewell and such outstanding service will send us back there when we need any new appliances.

Purchase and delivery experience were excellent. Helpful and professional staff. The purchase was $5k+. Only issue has been icemaker on Whirlpool refridg, which company repaired under warranty. It is still working.

We had been looking to replace a stand-alone refrigerator that was no longer able to keep fresh fruits and vegetables for more than a few days.  We originally were not going to buy a built-in unit.  We did lots of web research, we looked at a lot of stores and spent a lot of time.  We knew Sewell since we had previously purchased a washer and dryer from them.  The salesman we worked with, Butch Brunt, was about the most patient salesman I have ever encountered in retail appliance sales.  He listened, he took time to understand what we needed, and he showed us a variety of options.  After much back and forth via e-mail and phone calls, we finally narrowed the decision down to several built-in models.  We visited Sewell one more time and Butch helped us decide (finally) on the Sub-Zero model we ended up purchasing from Sewell.
When we had to have our Sub-Zero temporarily uninstalled to accommodate some additional cabinet modifications, Sewell arranged for their crew to uninstall the unit early in the day, and then return to reinstall the unit later that same day, after the cabinet modifications were complete.  They did charge us for that, but they were willing to be flexible and provide this service to us without complaint.
We have since purchased an Asko dishwasher from Sewell.  What brought us back was the top quality service we had received and continue to receive from Sewell in general and Butch in particular.  At this price point in the market, most everyone has the same pricing, so it all comes down to trust and service.  Sewell continues to deliver in both of those areas.

My cooktop of 30+ years was finally giving out, so I decided to replace it and the ventilation hood.  I did a lot of internet research, so had an idea about what I wanted and what prices were like, then I went to Sewell to see their showroom and see if I could finalize a decision.  Mr. Sewell himself greeted me as I came in the door, then handed me over to a salesman who showed me some options and worked up some pricing.  At no time was there a hard sell.  In fact, even though he gave me his card, he didn't even ask for my phone number or e-mail address.  But he did give me product printouts and other info I would need.
After my visit, I decided on what I wanted and called the next business day to place the order.  I joked that Home Depot was $2 cheaper on one of the items, and the salesman immediately offered to match that price.  I was told it would take about a week to get the items, but it was more like 3 days.  I picked up the items myself and was thanked about 12 times for my business.
After I got the items, I had some questions (thought some parts were missing), so I called the store and was helped by a very pleasant and patient gentleman. 
In summary, I'd say they were professional and quick and competitively priced.  They prefer to sell the high-end stuff, but seem even more focused on doing what's right for the customer and were perfectly happy to sell me mid-grade merchandise.  I'd be inclined to check them out next time I'm in the market for appliances.

We called Sewell about the issue and they were very responsive.  They set an appointment for a few days later and were very prompt.  The technician knew what the issue was right away and was able to fix it.  The repair was covered under warranty, so we did not have to pay for it.

Our garbage disposal wasn't performing well, so i called to have a technician check it out and either repair or replace it. We have used Sewell in the past, and they have done a good job. I talked with HAL on phone and told him I wanted the INSTALLED priced for both a new 1/2 HP disposal and also for a new 3/4 HP disposal. He gave me ONE price quote for each ( NOT  separate parts price and separate installation cost) , and I scheduled an appointment. When the technician, Norman, arrived, he checked out disposal and quickly diagnosed the problem and told me I needed a new one. I said fine, and decided on a 3/4 HP. He then quoted me the price, which was NOT  the quote that Hal gave me. The office was called; I spoke w/ Hal, who told me that he HAD quoted both the parts price, plus the installation cost. I told him that he DID NOT, and he proceeded to argue. Hal was very rude; not professional at all. In the end, I chose to go ahead and get the disposal installed, b/c I needed one right then!  Most companies will honor the original price quote, even if a mistake on their part was made. I am very disappointed that Sewell has employees that won't do that, and we will not use them in the future!!  The bright spot of my experience was Norman, the technician, who was courteous, efficient, and professional in his installation. Integrity is important to us, and it is lacking at Sewell.

The technician was very knowledgable, personable and professional.  A refreshing combination.  He arrived on time, worked quickly and showed me exactly what caused the problems with our oven.  The part seemed expensive but in line with current market price for similar parts.  I would use Sewell again.
